hi i just wanted to know opinions on the volcano products.

i recently purchased their inferno with a tank setup. its okay but for 75 bucks i expected something amazing. and im thinking of changing to a cartomizer system.

anyway i was wondering if anyone had experience with their atomizer... umm i mean "tank o mizer" as they call it. its a tough one to clean and even tossing it in boiling water several times (as they suggest) doesn't seem to get out the taste and smell of old juices.

My experience with the tanko's is that if you want to clean them properly you have to remove the spike, you'll never get the atty clean without a dry burn. Sometimes when removing the spike the wick will stick to the atty, if it's not ruined it'll have to be reset, which is sort of a pain. These are the reasons I moved away from the Tankomizer setup, those and the muted flavor and wicking not keeping enough for my personal taste. These are tanko issues in general not just Volcano.

Something you have to realize about Volcano is that everything they sell is something else that's been given a cute name, a flashy paint job and sold at a higher price than anywhere else.

What you have is, in reality, an eGo-C or an eGo-T. If you need parts or help with that device, there are a zillion eGo-C and eGo-T users who can help you, but might not recognize that they are using the same device as you are. So, it's best to just call it by its real name so more people will realize they have the same device.
