I have my new provari mini for two days and the kit came with a protank 2. The taste isn't there and no where near what I've become accustomed to before I got this.
I ordered a ibtanked tank when I ordered the provari but it still hasn't shipped yet so I know I'm at least 3 days out from getting it. The closest b&m is a volcano lounge right down the street. Anyone put the volcano 7ml tank on they're provari? I assume it uses the mega cartos. Anyone know if this would work and how well it would if it does? I just need something to ride me over for the next week

I have no experience with volcano carto tanks. I do know what your talking about with the issues with the pt2. I have no idea why provape would include it with the starter set though the pt2's have worked great on other devices, just not on the provari for me and many others. They're are a handful of people that haven't has issues with theirs. The volcano tank I doubt would be worse than the pt2. I also have an ibtanked on order that hasn't shipped yet. I don't know how much use it'll get cause I can't get enough of the RSST that I got to hold me over till the ibtanked gets here.

Yeah I'm just lazy and don't want to waste the trip if the tank is bigger than the provari. I think the lavatube tank uses the mega/xl cartos like my ibtanked will so I think I should be good on that. I just don't want a tank that is bigger around than the provari is

Even if it is and you like the looks enough, you can always get a pro-ring from somebody.

They work fine!

It's just a SmokTech DCT. It's 19mm so it matches up with the top cap where it tapers in. The tube tank comes with a 3 ohm smoktech carto when you buy it...

Make sure they know you're in the military, they offer a 10% discount.

It uses the mega/xl cartos?

Better flavoring than the pt2 I assume?

That depends... Sounds like your PT2 is being a pain in the ... and not wicking right... That's pretty common, and if that's the case then yes the carto should have a better flavor. It won't be like dripping, but it's still good.

I personally like the PT2, but I know they aren't for everybody... They take some tinkering to squeeze out their hidden performance. And each coil is different. Inconsistent

Cartos are a lot easier, IMO

Honestly wish I would have never bought that dripper. Before I had it I used the same clearomizer for multiple months and didn't mind one bit. I know now how horrible the flavor was and I'm so spoiled. I know I know, first world problems but my OCD is completely crushing my bank account at this point.

Hah! Yeah, it gets expensive... Good news is, you have one of the best APV's on the market, so the expense of finding that is over... Now you just gotta find something to put on top of it that's gonna make you happy... I think a good carto setup is gonna get you in the ballpark. Once you learn how to prep the cartos well, they're gonna get you CLOSE to dripping flavor, but without having to drip more juice in your atomizer all the time. Cartos are disposable though... So they will get expensive over time...

Once you get some knowledge under your belt, you may start looking at something like a Kayfun or Russian. Excellent flavor, nice capacity, rebuildable... But the entry fee on one of those is around $100... Maintaining it will be substantially cheaper over the long haul than the continuous purchases of cartomizers.

One step at a time... It's cheap to TRY cartomizers... It's EXPENSIVE to try a Kayfun... LoL

Try the Sophia from ByLeo instead of a carto in your tanks.

This is the first I've heard of this thing and it looks awesome. I just read so many positive reviews about it and I'm not even 100% sure I know what it is. I so know I want it now after reading all that.
But alas something like that will have to wait at least another month. The vaping companies have take. Way way way too much of my money in the past 5 days. I would also be nervous having something like that with me at all times like I do this one. The 510 connector is fragile I'm realizing and I'd hate to break an $80 atomizer.
