After countless hours of reading and watching reviews, I think I'm finally ready to upgrade from my Volcano Inferno to a ProVari

I want to build a ProVari Mini with two uses: for an at home or road trip setup to a nice going out and fitting in my denim pockets setup
Basically, I want one with stellar battery life and one that's the shortest/smallest I can go

I was thinking of doing this for home use: Kir Farnis extension mod (I emailed him and he said that he'll soon be making the v2.5 cap) which can hold 18650 batteries, in 2200/2900mah. And then using a Kanger Protank for it

can you guys recommend other small tanks for my going out setup? Basically want it as small as I can, or small enough to fit in my denim. something that I can vape from while

All I know how to use are cartomizers but I'm going to watch more videos on the other options

Thanks in advance :)

I use a mini for just the same setups. I use two Tatroe extension rings; it allows me to use all three batt sizes. I like the Ikenvape carto/22mm standard length IB tanked combo with a Shorty drip tip for pocketibility in 350 mode. It has a good juice capacity to size ratio. There’s also the Twins telescope adapter for the mini to change batt size. I like the tatroe rings, I think it's the sleekest option. Also for home use the Tatroe Base is nice, more stable.

If your going to use a protank a lot, I would also look at the Hippo, it protects your connector threads, gives you air adjustment on carto tanks and that sexy one peice look:)

I use the Mini with the the Twins when I need longer battery life. I also use well made pyrex carto tanks, and cary my PV around in my jeans pocket all the time. Never had a problem. I also use a pro-ring and/or Hippo for a sleeker look, and I think it also feels a bit more solid in my pocket. No tank edge hanging over my Mini.

I have both a blue standard v2.0 Provari and a black v2.5 Mini. I also use the Tatroe extension sleeves and bases. Two sleeves ($15 each) on the Mini will allow you to use an 18650 battery. http://www.cigtechs.com/Tatroe-Mods_c_66.html

For a tank, I recommend either a Kanger ProTank or an IBTanked pyrex cartotank. The below photo shows my Mini with an XL IBTanked, a standard size tank would be a little shorter. The second pic shows both an XL and standard size tank for comparison.

For additional durability for out-and-about use, you might want to consider the Tatroe Tanks (see in above link) which are all-stainless steel ProTank upgrades which accept the Kanger coil heads and allow you to use your own drip tip.

NOTE TO OP: That 2900 mAh battery you mentioned is either a typo or someone is in error. The only 2900 mAh battery that I'm aware of is a protected battery and will not work in a Provari. Only IMR batteries for the Provari, of which the Panasonic hybrid/IMR 2250 mAh is the highest ohm IMR available to my knowledge.
