I don't think you can get many battery or led colours for the 510, mainly just black or white (I could be wrong) I ended up going with the volt after trying a few different manual and auto 510s and I will never go back. I do have a riva that I try to use at home but I do prefer the volt.
You could probably get a stainless colour 510 if you look around, not sure about slim ones but I know you can get stainless rivas.

Edit: just remembered I think I saw coloured batts on health cabin website.

Get a 901/808 - 510 adapter for your Volts :2cool:

808s are better than 510s for a number of reasons, so I'd be tempted to get an adapter if I had to use 510 gear and wanted a small ecig.
leftfeild.. I'm curious about what the reasons are. Been trying to research but except for the 808 having slightly longer batt life and 1/2 or 1mm larger, I don't see a huge difference? Granted I'm talking generically & not about the VOLTs (haven't looked close at them). I've heard that the 808 carts seem to deliver more vapor.. Is that one reason?

I only started 3 days ago with a Blu, and I've ordered a 510 to 808 adapter, some 510 cartomizers and one each of a 510 and 808 clear cartomizer because someone mentioned the 808 carts seem to work better so I thought I'd try one with my 510 batt. But after my order I found out about the short batt life of the Blu '510' so until I decide if I'm going to go for a way big batt I ordered 1 each of a 510 and 808 XL size batt.

I'm figuring that since I've been tobacco clean after 45 years with these things, It's worth a couple hundred bucks to experiment until I get dialed-in. :p So, your 808 over 510 thoughts? Thanx

I can't comment on all 808's or 510's but i had a couple of 510 autos and manuals and the battery would last me a maximum of about 2 hours. the manuals weren't too bad but the autos were really hard to use. the draw was very airy and i would have to take a primer puff first to get it going.
The volt autos will last me around 3-6 hours sometimes longer depending on how often i'm vaping and the draw is so easy and i get much more vapour from it. Because of this i haven't even tried the manuals, i get everything i need from the auto.

808 vs 510 favours 808 for three reasons:

808 is a regulated 3.7v battery (it's actually 3.6 something but higher than 3.6 so I say 3.7) compared to the 3.2v in a 510. You get more power with the 808.

For the comparable sizes, an 808 carries a greater mah rating than a 510. The 808 is slightly fatter but not by much, so you will get a slightly longer run time between charges with an 808.

The automatics on the newest 808 batteries are much more robust than the 510 models; it's easier to kill a 510 automatic or have it fire to sound or movement compared to the 808 which has passed the sound test, and for me has passed the harder to kill test as these volt automatic batteries I have and use daily are over 6 months old and are still going strong.

For personal reasons, I really like 808 cartomisers compared to the 510s, I just do lol seem to give more vapour and a slightly cleaner hit.

I think the v4l kr808d-1 models are a little "better" than the volt ones as they have a 10 second cutoff compared to the 5 second cutoff on the volts.

Volt is actual 3.6v regulated. The standard manufacturer Kanger KR808D-1 and V4L are 3.7v. They are very close in heat though. And I only use manuals - harder to damage/kill with juice leaks and easier to get a good hit.

And if you were planning to put 510 things on a KR8 with an adapter - slim ecigs should only be using standard resistance atomizers or cartomizers and that is about 2.5 to 3 ohms single coil, nothing dual coil. I prefer the 2.5 hotter end of that range like V4L WOW cartomizers and 2.6 ohm SmokessImage/Bloogplanet cartos.

I use 510's too - manuals. But standard size (aka 78mm battery for 120mm ecig) KR808D-1 has 60% more charge than the standard 510. I like both but at 3.6/3.7v the KR8 has more warmth to it with easily available cartos at the low end of standard resistance. I do like the flavor of manual 510's with Boge 3 ohm cartos. I carry both and have a contrasting flavor on each. I tend to vape the KR8 more so they end up running out of charge at about the same time.

BTW I recently picked up a nice little 901/808 box mod at Madvapes (though the color-charging LED is a bit wilder than I am). Nice for a pocketable longer charge device for 808 cartos.
