3 amps x 7 volts = 21 watts
I'm curious to see how it turns out. That would be a great on-board meter to have. Good luck and keep us posted.

They are designed for USB spec. 7 volts means that's as far as you can drive it before you start frying things out, it doesn't mean it's made to operate continuously at it's maximum volt & current limits. Good luck.

Maybe it increments as you use more mah, then resets to zero when you unplug.
Useful for charging stuff so you know how much mah of charge you charged.

Yeah its for power banks apparently to measure mah used. Got it today and wired in on my box mod, my 2596 is operating poorly and cannot even drive 1.8 at a decent voltage. So far I've only tested in voltage and not actually running my atty through it but its a nice piece. Lights up says welcome for a 10th second then gets down to business. Just signed up for some samples and will continue tweaking with the board when my 10a stuff shows up from ti. Even if it will not handle the amps its still a really nice screen for voltage monitoring.

Well hooked it up to my 2596 anyway, shows amp volt and watts. Board is only putting out 3.7 volts which is hella poor but its reading 2.49 amp and 7-8 watts. Tried to video but you cannot read anything on the oled screen. Voltage comes through as soon as you hit the switch even before the screen begins to measure. Looks more promising now but only way to know is getting some amps through it to actually know.
