I don't think so. The volt meters people are using on the variable voltage mods to see where to set their voltage at.

Hey bad memory, while it is not a must to have a volt meter, it really is something that anyone that owns a mod should have. It comes in handy especially when dealing with lithium batteries. It can also help diagnose issues when you are having a problem with any mod. I would highly recommend getting one. I got a cheap one from harbor freight for 3 bucks and it works just fine for what we need it for.
