Many people incorporate the LED volt meter such as madvapes sells, but no one 'hides' the face of it so it has a cleaner look.

It would look even more professional with the meter behind some kind of semi translucent film such as on audio/tv displays that use led.

You can see what I mean at the beginning of this video


I used a piece of plastic originally on the front of a VCR that performed the same task, hiding the led component while letting the display shine through.

Very good point and quite a prevalent practice in home electronics. An old digital alarm clock could be a good source for a filter.

All my mods that use a voltage display get covered . Check out these two iv done . One is covered in carbon fiber and the other is set inside copper tubing with a tinted plexi glass over it .
