Keep in mind, throat-hit matters little to me.
3.7 volt is decent. But when your batteries start to get weak, flavor does a nosedive.
6 volts flavor explodes, but to me, gets overridden by the heat and excessive throat-hit.
5 volts does indeed seem to be the "sweet spot". You get the flavor explosion, you get heat, but the throat hit doesn't physically hurt.
Granted, I'm basing this on my day and change with my first 6 volt mod. But I'm finding I can actually take bigger hits with 5v one atty than I can with the dual 6v on my mod.
Granted, if I drop one atomizer on my mod and do single 6v, it's pretty good. Flavor is still better at 5v.
Also, if I take really short hits off the dual 6v, it's very enjoyable. As long as I wait a little bit between each one to allow the atomizers to cool a little.
I just had my first atomizer die today ever. I'm going to take it apart and use it to make a 1-2 adaptor for the prodigy to try dual 5v. I'm thinking the hits will be enormous. I'll do a video once I'm done.
