I actually have a serious question or two... hope they belong here! :)

I was wondering if someone might be able to talk a little about the voltage of the Bloog battery options, particularly the Trifecta, which I happen to have my greedy eye on. As an aside, does the Trifecta have a cut-off, and if so, what might it be?

I noted the 5-second cutoff on the manual battery while perusing the site. Is this really adequate, i.e. do these bad boys really do the job that well? Without a good 10 seconds I find it difficult to get a really good lungful with most of the kits I've tried...

Thanks!
Tim

Cant say much about the voltage, but ya, you dont need more than 5 seconds... One of the things that allmost put me off vaping was the need to sit and drag for 8+ seconds.... Thats not a good design imo.. Its freakin annoing! Impossible to sit and chat with a friend while puffing away... Cant keep up normal conversation, when you have to stop everything just to take a drag.... It is very nice to be able to use it more like a normal cig, and still get the TH...

Don't have my Trifecta here and don't remember if it has a cut-off. Was never an issue for me so, if there is one, it might be longer.
The battery itself works like a regular kr-808d-1: It's not regulated, so it starts at 4.2V when fully charged and goes down from there as you vape.
It has 280mAh, btw.

As I believe you actually said 'techie' and not 'trekie', where I would be even more hopelessly lost, I will jump in with a couple questions.

1: can you confirm the ohms of Bloog cartos? I have read posts from vapers saying they are spec'd for 2.6-2.8? I have also seen comments saying 3.0. I tested with my crappy toolbox meter and got 2.6ish or so on some and others a good bit lower. I ask for two reasons...I am trying to find a dripping setup for testing juices that will have as close as possible to the same flavor as what my loaded Bloog/carto will have. I have tried out many other setups in general and nothing has the same level of flavor as my Bloogs!! Other reason being I've had a few bad cartos (little/no vapor and flavor right out of the pack) and want to see if its ohms spec and its just no good, or maybe a fill issue or something and cleaning might at least save it as a blank. I wont use a MF to drip, and the Ego batt I have I know is lower voltage, so on to my next question...

2: Is the NON Trifecta pass through 5v (if used with a proper power supply)? Or is it an actual wired battery at 3.7 that will drop off depending on charge? Or is it possibly a sweet 4.2v like a fresh MF, and again, is the voltage steady?

I have come to believe the reason nothing else vapes with the same flavor (I am a total flavor junkie) and vapor as the Bloog MF, esp right off the charger, is the combo of 4.2v and the carto ohms and I want to come up with a same setup for dripping (and would be great if it also allowed steady performance w/ no batt swapping for those heavy vaping nights!)

Thanks!

2.6 ~ 2.8 Is right about where all of mine ohm out

The only batts that operate at 4.2 are standard KR808's. All of the Bloog batteries are regulated to approximately 3.6 volts. In my opinion that is part of what is so great about them. Consistent vapes from fully charged to almost dead!:2cool:

I'm sure someone else with more info will be along shortly to answer your other questions.

This is a major part of the better design in Bloog manufacture - the constant volts from fully charged to close to depleted. The varying volts in other e-cigs and the inability to talk to manuafacturers to even out the delivery is what has given the Bloog its birth. The cartos are matched to this regulated voltage as well.

All of the MaxxFusion batteries.
The trifecta and the old fusion batteries are not regulated.

Thnks guys, i like em too.. hehe

The volt being a 3,6 is quite annoing for a person who gets sick from high nic, but soooo crave TH.. I use my bloogs in the morning and the rest of the day the regular kr8's......... Shame cus when clubbing i dont use'em at all, and thats the place i wanted something small and cool the most.. The cartos work fine on a reg batt if only one keeps in mind that a fresh batt needs a very full cart or itll taste burnt.. The regs go down and perform like the mf the last ten minutes or so...
