Still enjoying the Voodoo but it's gumming up the wicks in my clearos like crazy. I have to clean them before every refill. Is it just me?

Nope. Gums up my Vision clearos pretty quick. I use cotton re-wicks, so not a huge deal. Loaded up a carto, too, and it's holding up.

I can go 20+ ml when using Torque or Turkish before needing to change wicks. Voodoo just won't be one of those flavors. Worth the few minutes to swap wicks for that flavor...

Got my sample bottle Monday and just filled a tank. My first impression is that the juice smells like grappa. Brings me back to the Amalfi coast days. First vape in a new tank on a VV at 4.3 v, standard coil. Interesting. Definitely getting some grape. Not as strong as it smells. After tones I can't quite place. 3.8v. brings out some more grape. 3.3v. and I'm vaping grappa. Maybe a little pear. I like it.

Lived in Italy six years, this stuff tastes just like Grappa. When I took my first vape I thought of this post, dead on.

Not just you. I refilled mine twice (with Tribeca) since, without cleaning; no performance hit, and the Tribeca was just fine (even better!). I'm going to give it a cleaning before the next refill, but I'm sure it's all fine.

I suspect that it has a bit more VG than other Halo flavors.

Voodoo juice.....18mg nic. Hmmm.... with all that everyone else tastes, I dunno. I just get blueberry/vanilla/tobacco with some tartness. No real cameleon flavor changes for me at all. I get no cinnamon or grape or currant. Maybe it's the plum that tastes like blueberry. I will see in a few more days as I just got it yesterday. The only way I got the voodoo effect was while chainvaping. And then it was too subtle a change to make any great impression on me. Still a tasty juice.

I could be, however some flavors simply are tougher on wicks and coils regardless of PG/VG ratio. For example, I do like some coffee flavors, but they almost universally are tough on coils even in an 80/20 PG to VG ratio.

What are you vaping it on? Do you have a vv/VW battery? I don't get too much of the "Voodoo" effect using a standard Triton battery and tank. Using my twist battery, the effect increases. When I change the voltage, the flavors change too. When I vape it with my Vamo and Evod, that's when all the changes really happen. I ran out before I could try it in my Protank, but I'm pretty sure the effect will increase some more.

But if I'm only taking a drag or two, which is rare, I don't get too much of the effect. When I sit down and take 10-15 drags at a sitting, that's when I really get differences between drags. I'm not saying to change your habit just to taste different things in your juice though.

When I first got my sample I didnt like the taste very much. =\

But then... after a week... it magically transformed into this godly nectar of deliciousness. lol.

It's so tastey. I really taste some grape... and I dunno why, I havnt heard anyone else mention this but I taste fig. Well kind of. Reminds me of figs.... but in the best way, just a hint! I havnt been able to put this stuff down. I just nearly chain vaped a tank of it. I hope I didnt just totally destroy my wicks. Hah!

Edit: Forgot to mention, it's for sure tobacco tasting too. Also - I have it in 24mg. Hardcore and yummy. Oh, that week steep it had the cap off the entire time. It was up on my shelf and I sorta forgot about it.

Mine should be here Tuesday or Wednesday. It helps to be one state over from Halo.

What should I listen to during my first Voodoo vape? Voodoo Chile by Hendrix is an obvious one, but what else? The Godsmack Voodoo song gets a bit old.

First time I saw Hendrix was at the Monterey Pop in 1967, then that summer in San Francisco a couple of times (at the Avalon and Fillmore). Luna Lee's version...

See, now I'm not certain what was junking up my Triton Tank coils: Voodoo, the juice, or the Triton Tank coils themselves.

I rinsed out the tank, since I am switching to another 10ml bottle (thanks again, Strider). Voodoo does linger in the wicks, but upon closer inspection, and during a dry burn (which is not easy in those), I found some of the coils were touching and some weren't close at all. So the touching coils most llikely created a hot spot of condensed heat that caused some of the liquid to burn and gunk. With a pointy dental tool, I was able to space them -- once again, not the easiest in a T2 style tank. This was a brand new coil assembly, and the second rinse. I didn't check the coils the first time, however.

So I'm pretty certain that it was the coils that caused the problems.

Always check your pre-made coils before using! Lesson learned.

That's why when I refill with the VooDoo I always clean the coils on my AGA T2

Not really into VV /VW. At this point in my life I like things simple. Got lots of Volt batteries and X2 as well as eSmart and T4 clearos. When I sit and chain vape it does seem to change a bit more and I am going to give it some time to steep as well. This stuff seems to have potential, we'll see!

You should get a vv/twist-type battery. Not just for this flavor, but for everything you vape. The same juice will taste different at different voltages. I didn't think it would make as much difference as it does. Voodoo changes a lot more than any other juices I've tried with different voltages/wattages.

Twist batteries aren't too expensive; easily worth the money IMO. I'm not saying to with a mod (although that would be better).

So, is anyone else experiencing this? When I first tried Voodoo, I got a lot of blackcurrant and berry flavor and now that it's been steeping for about 10 days, it's more spicy and cinnamon-y. I put it in a carto at first and it got that burnt flavor after about a week of refilling. Just today, I put it in my new G6 mini tank and it's still a little burnt tasting. Am I doing something wrong? I love this flavor so much and I feel that it's getting away from me. Help???

Voodoo does reveal different flavor notes while you vape it. Also, the longer a liquid steeps the flavors do balance out, meld, mute, change. Just be certain to shake your juice bottle daily, and just before you fill your juice delivery device for best results.

And yes, Voodoo is a bit hard on coils. The color darkens as it heats up, and perhaps due to sweetener, it can gunk coils faster than clearer/less sweet juices.

I hope you are enjoying the Voodoo.
