Hello folks and welcome back for today's review of the Argus G3 Pod device from Voopoo. As of the date this review is posted this is Voopoo's latest version of the performance proven Argus Pod system family. The Argus G3 houses a 1500mAh battery and has a maximum wattage output of 30 watts and it's pod's are compatible with every Argus device.

There is only 1 button that is multifunctional for power on/off, changing the display screen image theme, clearing the puff counter, locking the button, adjusting wattage and turning the display screen off if desired, this is a auto draw only device. Adjustable airflow is present with 3 holes. The Argus G3 has 2A fast charging.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS


There's nothing special as far as the packaging goes with a slide out inner container, Voopoo has nice button instructions on a piece of cardboard covering the components that ship with it.

Pod attaches as most do by way of magnets located at each end of the pod, they are pretty strong as I never had a pod come unattached in pocket carry, 2 airflow intakes inside perform very well.

Ohm's are easily identified as they are stamped on the rubber fill plug on the side of the Pod and filling the Pod can be done without the Pods removal, I'm very glad Voopoo has implemented this filling method, it just seems faster to me. The fill port is large but as always leave room for air to escape when filling the pod.

The device was almost fully charged when it arrived but I charged it to it's full capacity before testing was to begin and it charged rather quickly. The USB-C charge port is on the bottom of the device, a piece of rubber surrounds the charge port protecting anything it's placed on.

The three adjustable airflow hole's on the side provide plenty of airflow that can be closed down for a great MTL vape if you don't mind a larger mouthpiece, for my preference I wish it was thinner. There is even a isolated small hole for those that like a really tight MTL vape.

On the color that I received ( Black ) there is a pearlescent look that shimmers in different lighting moods ( LOOKS GREAT ) and there's a metal bezel around the display screen, some colors offer a diamond stone appearance instead of the metal bezel.

The menu system is a very easy one to navigate having only a few button combinations to remember, I really like when devices are like this. ( ONE BUTTON FOR MULTIPLE APPLICATIONS ).

* STEALTH MODE - Long press the button to turn the display screen on/off

* WATTAGE ADJUSTMENT - Press the button 3 times quickly ( Has Round Robin Feature )

* THEME SELECTION - Press the button 2 times to select 1 of 3 themes that 2 of which have animation, once on the theme you want long press the button to select that theme

The animation of the sport and music theme's really takes away from the screen's nice appearance in the smart mode. When charging the device there is also animation on the display screen.

FINAL IMPRESSIONS


The first thing I have to talk about is the flavor from these coils, both coils produce way above average flavor and plenty of vapor as well. The airflow can be adjusted to suit any vaping style beit RDL or MTL, the Argus G3 even has a dedicated tiny airflow hole for those liking a very tight MTL vape.

Airflow is not the quietest but it's acceptable and it's pretty smooth as well. The side fill of the 3ml pods work well just remember to leave enough room to allow air inside the Pod to escape when filling.

I had no problem using the mouthpiece for a RDL vape but wish it was a bit thinner with a bit more taper for MTL, it would improve the MTL vape IMO.

I really like the shimmer appearance in different lighting as it adds to it's clean classy look. All in all I really like the Argus G3 and think Voopoo did a great job on this device and I recommend it 100%.
