    Hello friends and welcome back for today's review of yet another member in the Argus family from Voopoo called the Argus Pod SE. This is a very simple bare bones Pod device that offers a 800mAh internal battery with fully adjustable airflow and is button free making it auto draw only. Does it get the job done being a no frills type of device, I'll give you all my findings later on in my review but first let's get to know what the Argus Pod SE is all about.

    FIRST IMPRESSIONS

    Presentation is nice with a slide out inner box with a box containing the user manual and charge cord sitting on top of the device, lifting the box off reveals the Argus Pod SE with a 0.7Ω and 1.2Ω Pod next to it in a pre-cut plastic tray. Picking up the device and placing it in my hand I found it disappeared very easily in a clenched fist which I like. There is a design on the Orange colored sample version that I received for testing that is seen when the light hits it at the right angle. I would say that it's weight is fairly light just making it a shirt pocket friendly device.

    Testing starts with a full battery so even though when I plugged the charge cord in I had 3 LED's illuminated on the device I left it charging for about 20 minutes to be sure I was fully charged. The 3 LED's on one side of the Argus Pod SE are your battery strength indicators. The other side of the device has Designed By VOOPOO printed across it.

    As far as the bottom of the device goes it is flat and will stand upright but it's easily knocked over with the slightest nudge when sitting on a desk or table so I recommend laying it down when not in use. The Argus Pod SE uses a USB-C connection and the charge port is also on the bottom. On the back of the device is the logo for the Gene chip at the top with VOOPOO printed across the body.

    Connection of the Pod to the device is done magnetically as most devices of this size do, the mouthpiece is tapered down and very comfortable to use. Bore size of the Pod is small giving that goldilocks size of being just right. I'm glad the Pod is clear being able the see juice easy. The Pod uses 4 airflow inlets for a smooth vape. Although the fill port hole size is fine the rubber plug that plugs it is rather thin and flimsy, when opening be sure not to manhandle it for fear of it breaking.

    As I said in my opening statement there are no buttons or display screen making it very simple and easy to operate, wattage adjustments are done automatically using coil detection from the Gene chipset for any ITO coil used in either the supplied pod's or empty Pod's with ITO coils installed.

    I think the Argus Pod is perfect for a new vaper or a seasoned vet wanting to keep things simple. You may not have button firing but the auto draw works great so there's no worry's in that department. There is a fully adjustable airflow control that is also on the front of the device.

    PROS

    * Small

    * 800mAh Internal Battery

    * Great Flavor

    * Lightweight

    * Clear Pod

    * Fully Adjustable Airflow Control

    * Smooth Airflow

    CONS

    * Flimsy Rubber Fill Port Plug

    FINAL IMPRESSIONS

    First off let me say there is a place for the Argus Pod SE being a great on the go device and keeping things simplified. I found plenty of great flavor from the ITO coils preferring the 0.7Ω over the 1.2Ω for the warmth factor.

    Airflow was great with the auto draw working as it should all the way through my vapes without cutting off or sputtering as some Pod devices do. The size is perfect for a tighter fitting shirt pocket or in a pants pocket, my airflow setting stayed where I set it never coming off it's mark.

    If your looking for a simple and easy to use device without some of the frills the Argus Pod SE might just be the ticket for you, mind you depending on your vape frequency in a day your vape millage will vary on a single charge, I had to charge the Argus Pod SE twice a day during testing.

    As a MTL device I will continue to use it for quick trips of 4 or 5 hours away from my house knowing I'll be just fine without worry of needing to charge it.

    I would like to thank Nical and Voopoo for providing the Argus Pod SE for my review, I also hope all your questions were answered.

    THANK YOU
