I just done a ticket, was bought early april

When not in use it is now draining the battery, left overnight it failed to cut off from low voltage and needed a couple of cycles to get the battery charged.

I have tried different batteries but its doing it on all of them, I have changed tanks and checked it and it makes no difference

Has anyone else had this problem or found a solution?

Mine did the same, at the same time the battery voltage was also being misread, it would typically remain @ 100% constantly. I semiretired it as I have quite a few other mods.

Now I cannot say for sure what has cured the issue, at least for now. But I suspect it was caused by some sort of firmware corruption. I tried multiple times the various revisions, each time the mod would work properly for a short period of time, then after using for a bit the battery level indicator would start reading wrong, and the battery drain issue would start again.

Once again I shelved it, then not long ago the ArcticFox custom firmware came out, figured my semi-functional VTC Mini would be a perfect test subject. Anyway, since applying the AF firmware it has once again started reading battery level correctly, and I've not had further issue with draining when not used.

My thoughts are somehow firmware corrupted in a portion of memory which is not commonly overwritten during update. And possibly either the AF firmware or updater managed to rewrite the corrupted portion.

Again, no proof this is the case, but happily my VTCM once again works properly. You could give it a shot, quite easy to rollback to official firmware, and I'm not aware of any risk trying it.

As a bonus you'll gain quite a few nice additions to functionality. If you try it, please report back with results, as it would help confirm my thoughts.
