Vtc5s anywhere yet?

Hey guys

Has Sony released any new vtc5s and where can I get them? My local Vape shop says they have them but they're really expensive and I'm not sure of their authenticity. I'm assuming these are still the best. They're going in my dual 18650 dna 40 mod after I all but blew up my lipo.

Unless you are planning to build below 0.2 ohm, I don't really see the points of having Sony VTCx. They are overpriced imo.

Not sure of the required min amps the DNA 40 requires, I thought it was somewhere around 16a min, anything quality in the 20a range should work just fine. I use purple efest 3100 20a single batt and get a day and a half out of it. I vape hard also.

2x Samsung 25R will be more than sufficient for use in a DNA40, currently available for $6 each from illumination supply.

The amp limit of the DNA 40 is 16A but since its a dual setup an 8A battery should be more than enough so the draw on any 18650 battery will be fine (at least I haven't seen any below 10A). I'm looking more for capacity and safety than anything else.

In those regards which would be best for my usages? Is the Samsung a good choice or would the efests be better?

Samsung a good choice and the higher amp rated batteries will hold a charge in the vaping useful range (usually 3.5 volts and above) even if you aren't drawing anywhere near their continuous discharge amperage.
