Ms. Dedi if they don't have the velvet touch coating then they're the unsealed king diamonds. There's another fix for that on Snow sir's youtube channel.

Was referring to some of my diamonds
I realize this is an older thread but sometimes I don't have time to read all this and understand.........when I read what Cyrus had just written it HIT me! I have several diamond ordered in last few months with the above feeling! I can't maintain the force of air to keep them activated. At first I thought I was just screwed and it was the nature of this battery.........now I am wondering if this is "the fix" for this problem. I can't quite figure out if it is referring to Titans (which I don't have) or to diamonds? Any advice? I use both cartos and refills. Have been doing both for a couple of years with no problems on the ashcaps.

Ms. Dedi that fix is for the king diamonds, the unsealed ones. The king diamond batts have been through 4 generations-
VK1001- original king diamond batts
VT1002- second version, first with the titan logo, these are the ones the video refers to.
VK1002- king diamond manuals
VT1003- velvet touch versions of king diamond batts.
VK1001- original king diamond batts

This sort of info needs to be stickied I think.... with a clear discussion of the differences.

You ROCK! YES, I am referring to the second version as well, the four that I have all have that airy thing happening! They are just exhausting to use! lol Will have to work on them!

Dedi I snipped off a condom top and placed it over the threads, problem 100% fixed. Try it!
Cyrus, I hate to keep posting anything here b/c of the title of the thread..........
I will repeat I am and have always been referring to the VK 2 auto diamond.
With that said
Thx for the tip, yes, I have used the condom to slow down some of the air. I can't cover all the holes just sort of sit it crooked and it works better!
PS will not respond anymore here just b/c of confusion.
