Vtr and Kayfun

Sorry, but the Kayfun Lite or Kayfun Lite Plus will not fit inside the cage on the VTR. I have both of these items.
I am planning on cutting the cage off of my VTR and fabricating a replacement cage in the upcoming week so that I can use my Kayfun Lites.
I have heard that the Kayfun mini will work, but I don't know this to be a fact. Maybe others can answer that.
A Protank2 will work.

Thanks for the info. May still buy the vtr. Use my protanks at work and save the Kayfun for home.
I think you will enjoy the VTR. It is a well built and tough mod, just a little on the heavy side.
Thats cool. Looking for something durable. Not to worried about looks or weight. I'm sure within a week or two it will be scratched to hell and dinged up from taking it to work. Looks like the best thing for protecting anything you attach.
The spot for a tank, clearo,or RBA is 19mm in diameter. A Kayfun is 22mm. So, no, it won't work with the adapter, which defeats the whole purpose IMO.
I have a VTR and don't want to use the large adapter for a Kayfun either. But I've heard the Kayfun mini and the Taifun GS fit just fine. I still use some old ego style clearos sometimes in the VTR with a small adapter and they work like a charm. I'm seriously considering dropping $25 on a Taifun GS clone at Fasttech. Some folks have modified their VTRs and the pictures I've seen look great.

did you just file the inner portion of the ring away? im trying to do this with mine, but i dont want to go to far. could you put up some pictures of how much you took away?
