In the specifications for both, they are:

LiMn = safer chemistry
hybrid = even better chemistry
10 amp / High Drain = good for most any mod application
Panasonic = well known, quality manufacturer

Short of sub-ohm setups where a battery is over-stressed and a 30 amp battery is an entry level, I would expect these to work and last for many good vapes...

Both will work.

thanks so much with the help with this everyone. Most appreciated.

About using flat tops in the device, no I don't think you "have" to use them. I have read of some people having problems with not being able to close the door with button tops though so apparently some with button tops are too long. One person used 18650 AW button tops in that device & said his did not fit. So I wanted to make sure to get flat top to avoid that problem.

I can say with conviction the CGR18650CH performs well in the VTR... I have four that I rotate between the VTR and my Tesla. Never had a problem with them.
