VTR Custom Extension

I honed out the protective ring on the VTR with a Dremel and a sanding drum to fit 20mm Atties.

Gutted a 2.0 standard size boge carto and pressed in a 510 female connector with a wire soldered top to bottom.

Appropriated the top and bottom caps from a 20mm and smaller (not sure of the diameter) carto tank.

Put it all together and BOB's your uncle.

You can re-arrange the caps in any order to get whatever look you would like. Also using a mega carto will bring you above the ring if you don't want to hone it out.

Here is the one with the mega dual coil carto used for the extension. You need a 5th tank cap for the extra length but this setup allows you to use it without honing out the protective ring. The o ring on the top cap may need to be removed or not... Not sure of the brand of tanks I took the caps from as they have been lying around for quite a while.

Appreciate you offering this mechanical do-over. I've ordered my first V/V MOD and it's an iTaste VTR. May be very interested in what you have done once I get to 'modding' and using my new APV.
