I'm looking to purchase a 2nd iTaste VTR, my question is: With all the fake imitation products out there how can you tell if it's a genuine innokin product?? Thanks for your help.

The real stuff has an authentication reference code on the box, you go to their website type it in and it will verify an authentic product.
Innoken is located in China. I don't think another Chinese company is going to be ripping them off with out them knowing, being in the same country and all.

Regarding clones, this repeatedly comes up (especially regarding MVP's), i honestly think innokin (being a Chinese) company already makes their mods at such a low price point that no-one could (or has as far as i can tell/have read) clone them/sell for less and actually make money.

Most vape batteries and mods come from over seas, but there's still fakes. One of the vape shops here was getting imitation parts (they didn't know it) from their Asian supplier so I know it happens.

I was speaking SOLELY about INNOKIN products, there has yet to be a single confirmed incident of an INNOKIN product being cloned that i have seen/read about. (NOTE: the 134 Mech mod clone does not count as its COMPLETELY different than an actual 134)
If I'm understanding you right, there's been other manufactures that have been cloned but nothing from the Innokin line?
Mine was hidden on the last page of the owners manual. Scratch off like a lotto ticket.Fast tec briefly offered a $20.00 vtr according to vapeing cheaps website. But not anymore.
Picked it up a couple of days ago, it was on the inside of the instruction manual cover. Thanks for the info, the VTR is genuine!!
