VV AND VW device - Which setting do you predominately use?

Straightforward question. IF you have a APV that supports BOTH VW and VV, which setting do you typically use? I personally have a Vamo 2 and an innokin iTaste SVD and they both support vv and vw. With both I almost exclusively use VW as I often switch tanks with different resistance so for me VW is a no brainer and takes all the guesswork and vape charts out of the equation.

I'm an electrical engineer and I design heating elements frequently so the math isn't a problem for me, in fact I wrote the program the company uses to design the heating elements (a much more complicated process than required for e-cigs).

It just seems silly to me to check resistance then do the math to get the correct voltage for desired watts if the device can be set directly in watts to begin with.
