so anyway i got my vv ego in the mail yesterday and i am loving it. it rocks with the ego mega dual coil cartos. vaping heaven.
BUT the battery life leaves something to be desired. oh well, i guess thats what i get for blasting mega toots at 1.5 ohms

I have had one for about 3 months. I really like it. I am going to order two more. I also thought it was lacking a little in holding a charge but I use it mostly at the highest voltage setting so in actuality it does pretty good and charges very quickly. I am ordering a couple more so I can rotate them. I have a Lavatube and I still use the ego VV daily.
thats good to know that your vv egos are still used alongside your lavatube. ive been worried about getting a mod because i dont want to leave my egos in the dust.
and yes, this thing charges so quickly! do you use the rapid 420mAh charger or the 450? ive got the 420, but another vendor sells a 450mah charger that is supposedly the one that charges it "fully". im not so sure i am buying into that but still.
also- which cartos (or attys) do you use? ive got the EDMCCs (1.5ohm) and love them. i also got some Resurrectors (1.7 ohm) on the way.

I like my vv egos a lot - I use resurrectors on them. I usually use the medium or highest voltage setting. They last pretty long to me but then again I use several different batteries at once.
I use the 420 mAh fast charger that came with my ego mega. I like the vision extreme 2.5ml mini's and 3.5ml giants at 2.5 to 3.0 ohms on the VV ego at it's highest voltage setting. I use the vision nano's on the ego VV for testing juices, a lot better flavor than using an atomizer. The visions do not seem to like voltages over 4 volts and that is pushing it. I like to use DCT's on the lavatube at 2.5 to 3.0 ohms. I can really crank up the voltage on those, 5.0 to 5.5 volts. I could set the voltage on the lavatube to 3.5 or 3.7 volts and get pretty much the same results as the ego VV but I like using the ego VV for the lower volts and the LT for the higher voltages. The fact is I like the ego VV.

so glad I found this post...been looking into VV and really like the form factor of the ego battery so this will be great.
what kind of battery life are you getting and at what setting. I use the EMDCs as well and have found my regular ego batts leaving something to be desired. I just ordered a 650 mah from litecig, should be here by wednesday. I was gonna go with the 900 but everything i read says they are much bigger than the standard batts.
And do you have any issues with the top of the battery being loose? that was the other thing i read about them.
If it doesn't have any of the above issues Ill be ordering another. It was between the VVs or the booster. Im hoping I made a good choice

the EMDCCs drain batt life pretty quickly but its worth every second IMO. i like the middle setting the best, although i do toss in a few toots on the other settings. i use the high setting when theres low batt life.
the 650 VV is about as big as a 900 regular. a regular 650 matches up right to where the battery meter portion starts on the 650 VV.
i do not have any issues with a loose battery top. this is the first ive even heard of that problem.

Thanks for the info. I seen a couple of posts here and google regarding the top of the battery (the connection end) being tempermental and breaking when kept in a pocket.
Can't wait to get mine, it was between getting a VV and springing for a Lavatube, Im just not into really big mods, I like something that at least looks "normal" when you use it.

i know what you mean about feeling "normal". its good to have cigarette/cigar sized PVs in the arsenal. im starting to branch out though, to have another PV to reach for. the Lavatube was a viable option for me as well. i was comparing that with a box mod and ive decided on the box. i want to have somehting with a ton of power for when i need a huge blast. but for now i am loving my VV Ego. i'll continue to keep it around even after i get the box im sure.

Which box mod are u getting? I would still like to get something with more power and control but want to keep it budget friendly
im getting the smokbox from smoktek. check em out. i dig smoktek and trust they have a finely built machine. i thought about getting a lavatube or a knock-off tube but i want somehting with superior craftmanship. cant risk blowing my face off.
