Clearos have all sorts of different ohm ratings. With VV you can dial in for any clearo and get the perfect vape, or any other type of device from cartos to RBAs

Edit: Im using a vapeonly BCC at 2.5ohm now, the kit came with 3 heads all different ohm, so with the VV nothing goes to waste and i can get roughly the same vape from all 3

I was just curious as to what would be a good way to test/utilize vv. I reckon clearos are all close to same ohm, thus not allowing for broad changes in voltage. Do I need to get into rbas to use vv effectively? Carto/tank? Also...what looks least ridiculous on a box mod?

Thanks in advance!

Variable power - be it VV or VW is about being able to adjust the power to provide the best vape for a given atty and juice.

This does mean that you can get a good vape from a wide variety of resistances and juices. But that doesn't mean that VV is not useful even if you are only using one resistance or juice.

The variable power allows you to dial in your sweetspot for pretty much any atty or juice. So, instead of being stuck at 3.7v regulated or whatever, you can boost it to 3.9v if you find that better. Or 3.4v or 4.3v, etc.

So don't feel that you need a wide range of resistances to enjoy the benfits of variable power.

I hope this helps.

To find your sweet spot with a given juice it's best to try various resistances at various voltages/wattages, as different juices taste better at different temperatures. It's not much different to cooking different things at different temperatures to get the best taste. The are a variety of devices that cater for different resistances, like carto's, Vivi Nova's, well most things with replaceable heads. Whilst RBA's can be built to almost any resistance, they lend themselves more to use with unregulated devices, because that way you can build your coils to suit the power delivery, rather than adjusting the power to suit your resistance. That's not to say you can't use RBA's with VV/VW, there are numerous people who do, but it's less necessary than with something like a 3ohm carto that would be very underpowered on a mechanical mod.
