Alright kids, need some help. I'm looking to purchase a new REO and don't know what to get. I already own a Grand and original mini, and I'm torn between a mini 2.1 and a VV Grand. I want the mini 2.1 because of the size and want the VV cause all the cool kids have them... ;) What's the battery life difference on these two mods? I go through 4-5 ml of juice in my grand from the time I wake up till the end of my shift, and usually change the battery out before I head home. I use a rm2 with a micro coil wrapped @ 1.4 ohms in the grand. What do you fine folks think my battery time would be in a mini 2.1 or VV using the same setup? Any helps would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Would have to say go with the VV Grand. Your juice used in a typical work day points to the 6ml bottle.

The batteries in the VV Grand will outlast the one in the 2.1 if you are vaping at the same voltage. Going with a coil of 2.2-2.5 will allow you to tune your vaping voltage.

Since you have a Grand and Mini I feel comfortable saying you will better appreciate the VV Grand.

I don't have a mini 2.1 so can't speak to that. But I do love my VVGrand. I wrap a little higher coil - current one is 3.8ish and love to play with the settings on it to change the flavor. I swap the VV batteries once a day, but it is in rotation with 2 minis. I think I saw somewhere that most folks swap the VV batteries at about 3ml vaped.

+1 on the VVG. It's a very fine mod and will be a great addition to your stable. Everyone should have atleast 1 :)

There's mine pimpin for the shot and telling both of those grands who's boss.

In your situation, I bought another mechanical Grand... and use the same batteries, not different ones to keep up with.

Honestly, in my situation, I don't see a need for the Mini 2.1 with half the juice and battery capacity of a Grand. Do you, especially with a 14500 Mini?

If you go with a VV Grand, look at a 2.0Ω atty coil. At 5.5V, that'll get 15W out of it, and at 3.5V, it'll yield 6W, about as low as anyone would want to vape--giving you a wide range of adjustment. A 2.5Ω should do up to 12W and get down to about 5W, if you want to go a bit lower.

Love my VVG's and would not trade them for anything. I rotate through four different ones every day. With a 2Ω coil on the RM2 at 4.8v I can go through about 4ml of juice before changing the batts.

And for anyone that's not experienced the majesty of the side button... well, all I can say is that it's majestic!

My 2.1 is my favorite. For some reason I have 3 Grands and only one 2.1 I'll fix that one of these days though. I run a .8 ohm coil in mine. Kind of hard to gauge battery and juice usage, I don't vape any one exclusively all day. My 2.1 is always in my pocket though. A lot of times at work I'll have the 2.1 and a Grand in my shirt pocket with another Grand in my toolbox. I switch back and forth with them and they all make it through the day.

Why choose?

I'm sure Rob has plenty of each of them, he oughta be able to sell you one of each! ;)

I'm sure he does, and I'd love to buy both, but funds are limited. Moving in about a month, so I can only get one. I like NicoHog's thinking about the VV and a 2.0 ohm coil. Me thinks the VV Grand is going to be the way to go. Hopefully Rob doesn't sell out of the metallic blue before payday...

I have a grand and a vv grand and a mini 2.1. When I leave the house I might take the vv grand or the mech grand but I never ever leave home without my mini 2.1. I just love that little guy and it is always with me.

Regarding the vv grand, how do you guys know what volt you're at when you turn the wheel?

I'm a little OCD, so each VVG has had the wheel marked at 3.5, 4.2 and 5 volts. I used one of those in-line voltage meters and marked the wheel with a silver sharpie at those settings.
