I want one of those Clappers installed in my Box, this way when I leave it somewhere in the house I can just clap and a light and whistle siren goes off in my Reo :)

this reference might be lost of some of the younger viewers :) not me however. The weird thing is that this is the third time I have heard a "clapper" reference today.

Ok so just so you no I am listening Help me out here Lauren I think this is what you were asking .

YES!!!

Although if you could cut out both sides that'd be even better!

Maybe a more shallow cutout but on all 3 sides?

SOO AWESOME!!

You're by far the best modder around here Rob, Reos are really build by the people and perfected by you!

If this happens put me down for 3 of them!

Dude, I hate to say it, but that looks sweet. I have no issue with where the bottle window is now, but nonetheless, that looks mighty convenient.

The button + window placement is the main reason I bought an Ali'i. It's just too easy to fire and squonk with the same hand without having to flip the mod around. It's not a necessity but it's very very convenient.

That reo is the epitomy of my dream mod. Variable Voltage, Extremely durable, ergonomic, bottom feeder, YES!

I don't see myself going this route on the vv grand but I wont rule out doing a few custom mods ,This would have to be done pre tumbling anodizing .I can see doing a mod from scratch would be interesting and fun as long as we keep Tripp on the outskirts he would ask for built in WiFi surround sound and nose hair trimmers

My 2c I do not care to see so much of the bottle. If the hole was only on the side and not a cut out it would be more stream lined. I held the door up to the side and it would fit.

Just my 2c :)

That's kinda what I had in my head when I was thinking about it at work. Envisioned this:

But now that rob actually cut one out I like the cutout just as much if not more.

I 2nd that, I would like to see it too, I just know the issues Rob goes through when making an adjustment like this because it effecting other things but it is a comfy position as I have it in a couple other PV's I own. Striking the fire button at the same time as squanking the bottle is much easier and more comfy with both above and below each other MXBMW.

Like Rob said he is open to suggestions on a new build, I think it would be cool if on one of his builds he would have an open comment section thread for a new build and a bunch of us good Old time Reonaut Vapors gave our input and together we came up with something new and cool that the Master built for all of us,,,, Rob always has been a customer service type of vendor with open ears and wanting to please his customers ever since I've known him :) !!! Maybe a new Reo Woody or Grand with the Evolve modders board would be a cool one to work with Wayne :2cool:

Ohm yup, yes in deedy,, I like the way that looks and ergonomically the way your finger would feel squanking that looks very friendly, maybe a tad less of a cut out with eased edges possibly ?

Good. Decision is made. No additional discussion from other people needed. :)

Can you try a "blind grapping test"? How does the button perform, if you don't hit him directly in the center? What if you press him a kind of sideways? How does he perform in the pub, after three beer (german pils!!!), during heavy discussion with your neighbor about best sport team or most beautiful wood?

The Woodvil 18490, my Mrs. Cocobola, passed the pub blind gripping test perfectly. The Vpage Vmod and the Madvapes Roughstack didn't passed the pub test.

Andreas

we don't have any real good German pils here! I used to love me some Bishof!!:p

This is what I was thinking.

With hole on side you can squonk with the ring finger. If you flip it around in your hand you can squonk with thumb and never have to rotate the mod like I have to do with the front hole. No big deal though. I'm not that lazy,well..... I do like the way it looks :)
