Saw VV Riva batteries on the site a few weeks ago. Decided to order one today and they seem to have disappeared. Are they going to be coming back, or not sold at all?

We had a lot of QC issues with these. I am working with another manufacturer now, to work out the kinks. I am hoping to get some of the new version in stock next month.

It seems like most of the reputable vendors have pulled them...kinda sucks, mine just died. Of course, that's why they aren't for sale anymore...
I bought a two piece kit of with these Batts from a different vendor, they both came apart at the switch end within a month. :-(
not a big fan since in reality the "VV" range appears to only be from "original eGo" 3.2 up to "unregulated Riva" 3.7
if i could increase it past what my Rivas already do then i'd be enthused, but all the one i have really does is allow me to dial it down to the unsatisfactory level of my old regulated fat batts if i should so desire for some god knows what reason.

I hear you there. its a good idea, but i'm not in love with the execution either. The version I have in mind, needs to be redesigned from the ground up. We've pretty much put this on the back-burner for now, but I'll revisit it, and follow up with the engineers.
