I'm looking for some feed back from some of you that have played with rigs such as the vmax compared to the provari, as well as a kick unit. My first question is on a rig that is both vv and vw such as the vmax or is that the zmax... either way for instance the zmax says it variable from 3 - 6v and from something to 15 watts, now i know this is manually controlled, but are those the limits of what the rig can do? For example if you put a 2 ohm coil into it, and set it at 6v that would by ohms law if im doing it right set you at 18 watts, or does the rig limit it to 15 watts no matter what you have it set to, as well as if you used a 3 ohm coil and set the watts to 15, it would raise it above 6 volts, or does it cut out at the said 6v? secondly, are you vaping above 10 watts at all in the first place? Since the kick is 10 watts max, I see that it does a good job at adding more functionality to a standard rig that's stuck at 3.7v, and I'm sure the experience is more enjoyable that way, and most of the things I've read, people don't max the setting out, but if you're vaping at 12 and up watts on a vp rig, i'm guessing it's not as enjoyable on the kick. Well that post is pretty convoluted, if anyone understands that and can straighten me out would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

N1

The whole variable voltage/wattage can get overly technical.

Start low with any new head/juice combination. Vape at the lowest power setting. Turn the power/voltage up till you hit the sweet spot.

No calculator needed.

Over time, you'll know from experience where you like it set for a particular head/juice.

Any way you slice it ohm's law has 4 components.

It's just as possible to build a VA device as it is to build a VV or VW device, and every PV out there is VO. (just change atties)
Some absolutely sware by VW, while others are perfectly happy with VV, but the reality is that any time 2 of the 4 components of ohm's law are assigned a value ... so are the other two.

IMHO,where the rubber hits the road is how VV or VW is regulated, more so than if it's VV or VW.
