So with my mod I found that when I use around 10 watts which is the highest ill go, it takes a bit to heat up and I have to take a primer puff (inhale first second or 2 then blow out) before i start to inhale for the actual hit. And i have been told that 10 watts is around 3.6ish volts. Now, when I put it in VV and set my volts to 3.3 it heats up almost instantly (like a good mod would) and i can get way better hits of vapor and taste? I know that VW when used the mod will automatically set the volts required to push the watts.. so whats up?

Thank you all so much, yall are great!

OK, I don't know the specs for the VTR, sorry.

Anyway, if you're getting a good vape with a 1.2Ω at 3.3v, you're vaping at 9 watts, not 11. So try the 9 watt setting, or just stay at 3.3v where you're happy.

Have you checked the resistance of your coil? Is it really 1.2Ω? Sometimes they are not exactly 1.2Ω.

Having said that, that battery may not be powerful enough to handle your Sub nano.

Kanger SUBTANK-MINI clearomizer – KangerTech

BTW, Kanger recommends 12-25 watts for their 1.2Ω OCC coils. So, while you can certainly vape at lower wattages, I'd consider getting a more suitable battery at some point.

Eleaf iStick 30 is a nice option--and it can handle sub-ohm coils as well.

Good luck.
