So I had two Provari V1's and sent one to Provape to get updated recently--when I got it back I decided to sell my second one and was planning to pick up a Twist as a backup(something small to use when out & about). Then--horrors---I lost my Provari! So I picked up a Twist while I was figuring out what to replace the Provari with. The contenders--another Provari,a Zmax,an eVic or a Vamo? I went with the Vamo from Vaporus($63.00 inc shipping and tax!).I got it Thursday and I gotta say I'm impressed!

--battery life--about same as Provari in 18650 mode--about 3 hours with 18350
--works great with my Vivi Novas and with my Ego Mega DC cartos(ego threads--no adaptor req!)
--first time using Variable Wattage--love it!
--menu system--great--so simple! I never really minded the Provari system but the Vamo is so much better
--well built,solid--heavy as hell in 18650 mode.Like the button
--appearance--it's no Provari but it's not ugly! Really long and heavy in 18650 mode--very compact with 18350(gonna need some more of those) I miss the satin finish on the Provari--the chrome is too slippery .The screen is very clear but not pretty.

All things considered even if I still had my Provari I think I would use the Vamo more--variable wattage is great.Also--if I lose this thing--no freak out--just pick up another one for $60! Provape is going to have to respond(I'm sure they're going to)--go VW and add 2 tiny little buttons so they can update their menu system--then I'd buy another one.

Also--I visited Switch from Jr Custom Turnings the other day and tried the eVic out-- Switch(my vape guru) likes it and that's good enough for me. It's light as a feather and about the same size as the Vamo --in 18350 mode! That's my next purchase---after Xmas of course!

I don't know if its just me or if I'm imagining it, but for some reason the draw using a smoktech DC tank with a dual coil is.... well.... off. Connected to my Vmax and the EVO VV, it's the type of draw I'm used to. With the VAMO it seems like the draw is extremely tight. Tried using a sealed and unsealed 510-510 but still has this weird draw.

Anyone else notice anything like that? I've only had it for a few days now so I have yet to try one of my Vivi's but it was the same with a bridge-less atty tool.
