vv/vw noob questions

I just bought a itaste MVP 2.0 -

I have 2 clearomizers 1@ 1.9 ohms and 1 @ 2.0 ohms

what would be a good setting for a lot of vapor but not too high to burn it out?

also, when I make adjustments to the watts or voltage, how does it decide what setting to use??

any help would be greatly appreciated!

8 to 10 watts should be fine.

If I remember correctly there's 2 buttons on the lcd. One labeled P and one labeled V or U. If you want wattage mode hold down P and your watts will be labeled at P8.0, P8.5, etc. if you want voltage mode hold down U and it'll be labeled U3.8, U3.9, etc.

Haven't used it in a long time so I aplogize if I'm not 100% accurate.

I have no experience with the MVP, but I have an itaste 3.0 (nearly identical internals, difference is battery size and form factor) and generally keep it set around 8-9 watts depending on the juice. The easy way to tell whether you are in vv mode or vw mode is by the increments in which the setting goes up. For instance in vv mode, it will go up by .1 at a time and in vw mode it will go up by .5 at a time.

8 - 10 watts would be good, and I'd recommend VW mode as that way you can swap out tanks and/or coil units of varying resistance and maintain the same coil heat (and thus, the same vape, although the experience varies from juice to juice).

The VV/VW setting thing throws a lot of people. The device fires at the setting of the mode it's in. When in VW, it uses the power setting an ignores whatever voltage setting is registered. In VV... wait for it... it uses the voltage setting and ignores whatever power (wattage) setting is registered. Capiche?

hey crued, welcome to the big ECF forum

volts or watts, it's one or the other (can't be both)

it's like a FAN--you want air on ya, so you turn fan to "low-med-high"
Do you know what RPM's the fan is turning ? (doubt it)
you just know you want more or less...

start low (V) or (W) , then adj up till your pleased with taste
burnt doesn't mean only tasting horrible, you could be beyond
the optimal temp and not the best flavor your juice can be...

and it doesn't happen immediately-try 3.9v for a few minutes
then go up a couple if you want-4.1v for a little while, etc.

every coil, every juice, every person likes their own setting

on the MVP, I like to use V for lower & W for higher
that way I'm not clicking thru the buttons as much
eg: 3.5-3.6v then 7.5-8.0w--that way just choose U or P
