Can someone explain to me what VW does for me as a vaper? I'm still a noob at this but enjoy vaping, I own a LT and 2 Inferno ecigs and I was watching a review tonight of the Vamo and for the price it looks like a great buy.. BUT I don't know what VW does. Does it make life easier for me vaping somehow?

Variable Wattage, controls how hot the coil will get. It's the best for of power regulation. If you have a VW pv no matter high or low resistance the atty or carto is it will heat up to the same temp. without changing any settings, which means you get the same amount of power that gives you the vape you prefer when what ever carto or atty you put on it.

I'm happy to help. Power regulation is the future of vaping!:toast:
BUT WAIT THERES MORE!

not really... but that is the greatest sentence in the english language.

and thanks for the info Scottinboca. i noticed i have been fiddling with the power settings a lot less when i am on wattage.

Once I get watts set where I want I imagine I'll still play with the volts at times right.. VW is just so if I put on a small ohm carto and don't blow it up? Also I have a bunch of cartos in the mail, all of them are 2.0 and 3.0 SR.. Should I get (not now) but later LR/HR... Still don't know what they are like.. My main thing about vaping that I really like is THICK clouds.. Flavor of course but love the clouds.. My juices that I have now are either 50\50 or 70\30, but I have a sample pack coming that I'm going to try at %100 VG.

You don't really need LR with a Vamo. SR will work fine, and it has plenty of power. VW is so you can adjust by watts, and if you change the juice delivery system you can stay at the same watts. Once you've tried it I think you'll see. You can play with the volts - but you can play with the watts too. :)
For thick clouds - yeah, more VG will give you more vapor.

Still being a noob with this.. I have 1/2 tanks filled and I'm constantly flipping them around. Some juice I like warmer then others.. As of now I run the same ohm carto but in the future I'm going to try different ohm ratings to see what the deal is.. No matter what I read about it the only way is for ne to try for my self.. Not talking about the 2 Vivi I have, 3 cardo tanks w/ 3ohm and 2 smaller tanks w/ 1.8 I think..

Those ohms will be ok - the Vamo won't fire anything at 1.2 ohms or lower. I use the VV for dry burns. Everything else I use VW - that's just how I prefer it. I adjust watts for the juice sometimes - sometimes I like the same juice cooler or warmer depending on how I feel. First thing in the morning I find I like it warmer. Hope you enjoy playing around with it. :)

There is a thread on ecf about changing batteries, changing ohms and the Vamo. The conclusion was to check ohms on carto before firing so just in case , the Vamo can adjust to it due to less than a second delay in adjustment that might blow the carto a/atty depending on change.

That was some-one changing batteries with two 18350s stacked, and using low resistance atomizers. Changing a single 18350 or 18650 won't cause that problem. Using two 18350 with standard resistance won't cause that problem either.
If you stack 18350s and use low resistance then just click the ohms check button after changing the batteries.
So, when changing two 18350s - after you've put the two new batteries in, click the right button to check your ohms on your atty/carto/tank - and your fine.
Just changing one battery isn't going to blow anything.
Using low resistance and changing two 18350s for two more is where you need to make sure you click the ohms check first.

I didn't order batteries since I have 2 18650's but Im thinking about getting the 2 smaller batts so I can have the option of making a mini... Do u guys like the staking system? And how is it in Mini form? I know the power don't last as long.

I haven't stacked with mine - I prefer not to stack. Its good in mini form. As you said, the battery life is shorter, but it performs fine.

VW is like having the convenience of a set voltage device with the versatility of a VV device all rolled into one.

My one complaint with many of the new wave of APV's that are hitting the market is I don't want a bunch of redundant stuff (like puff counters) cluttering up the menus. When I buy a VW APV it doesn't need to be VV as well, that also just adds clutter to the menu when I want to reset the power level.

I agree, although it is important to have the VV option only if you are set on using dual coil cartos. I don't use dual coil cartos, so VV is pointless. The hole puff counter thing, especially on the EVic is such a joke! I also think they should do away with mean and only offer RMS, this is just IMHO.
