Well for the H of it I ran the numbers on my DIY juice.

It costs me less than $3 for 50 mL of juice. Which is about a weeks supply for me. So $12 a month. + MAYBE another $.25 in cotton and wire for the month.

Yep I think I can absorb the increase in juice consumption into the vape budget considering I really don't buy hardware anymore now that I have the REO + RM2.

i have no intent of upgrading my current set up, i have no intent of toying with/trying other set ups... the only thing on my wish list right now is a better charger, and some long stainless steel drip tips... neither of these are needs for me...

Uh-huh.
I said the same thing three mods and a half-dozen RBAs ago.

I think I'm weird in the world of vaping in the same way you are. I have got so far and I'm really happy and don't feel the need to spend a fortune on it. Where I'm at is perfect for me, the only problem I'm having now is nic level. I use 24 it seems too much I use 18 it's nowhere near enough. The disparity is so great I can't see how somewhere in the middle will work.

Outside of that I have reached my level and I'm very happy. Without VW though I wouldn't have found a really satisfying vape that gives me a real thrill as well as the nicotine hit. It's a revelation for me.

Yeah, VV (VW) rocks!
I use VV, I am too lazy to bother with watts. I know my voltage that is needed for my different atomizers (or can be adjusted with one little twist of my fingers) and no mathematical formula, thank you very much. :)

Heck and if 24 is too much and 18 is too little... why not mix it half and half, = makes 21 and take it from there? ;)

If you're going through more juice, reduce your nic level and it will be all good. If you're doing DIY it'll be cheaper too since the nic is the most expensive part. 24 to 18 is a pretty big jump. Anja's idea of splitting the difference and going to 21 should be a lot easier. I know a lot of Diyers are doing 2 point increments. I used to do jumps of 10 but 30-20 was too much, so I went 30-25-20 and 20 didn't happen until I got into RBAs.

I don't bother with DIY, since you can get Chinese e-liquid so cheap (not to criticise anyone who does - I'm absolutely sure there are many advantages to mixing your own, and I no doubt will attempt it one day. Just haven't seen the need yet).

Since you're in the UK, have a lookie here:

I vape many times more often and much more deeply at lower power than I do at higher power. I might take a hit or two every 10-15 minutes off a 0.5Ω coil on a mech, where I vape almost constantly around 2.0Ω on the same mech. The actual juice consumption over time is comparable.

I vape more often and more deeply, AND consume more juice over time, if I lower the nicotine concentration from 24 mg/ml to 18 mg/ml. The actual nicotine consumption over time is about the same, but it takes more juice to deliver it.

I purposely buy a lower nic concentration in my "treat" juices, and use them at lower power (higher resistance) so I can vape them more.

They vary. I've become a complete fiend for the Mint Chocolate. Most aren't overflavoured, some are even subtle.

I've got some Janty, and some ROAR Vapor. Both are over 5x more expensive, but I couldn't say they're 5x nicer.

I use the Hangsen for tanks, and the other stuff for dripping. Best of both worlds...

Thank you, thank you, thank you! :)
May I put this in a gold frame and hang it on the wall? To point to it whenever somebody states proudly "I am down to 6 mg nic!" - and then continues that they vape 9 ml a day. Duh... I use 18 mg nic and vape appox. 3 ml a day..... And I fail to see any difference in their nic consumption and mine :)

Very often, an oh-so-important oh-so-low nic content goes up in ... uhm... vapor ( ;) ) when you ask those people how much liquid they consume in a day :D

Apart from that:
yes, I agree, more power = more vapor = more nic.
In my experience that is why many people lower their nic content (automatically) when they start building their own coils.
Whereas those of us who use bought coils (Evod, Vivi Nova etc) do not produce as much vapor and thus consume a higher nic content in the (not-as-much) vapor we consume.

.............
edit:
Of course I would point to the gold-framed saying only if somebody brags about lowering their nic and looks down upon those who have not done so :) Apart from that, I could not care less how much nic other vapers consume or not consume :)
