VW jump from 9.5 to 100?

so just wondering why the wattage goes from 9.5 to 100 on my zmax... i know my math aint that great but i coulda sworn 10 come after 9

also, what is the basic equivalant range from volts to watts? i generally go at about 4.5-5 volts but around 8.5-9 watts...

It depends on the resistance of your atty or coil, measured in ohms.

Watts=Volts squared divided by ohms. So if you have a 2 ohm atomizer running at 4 volts its 4x4/2=8. So 8 watts of power. That's what's nice about variable wattage is that device will set the voltage based on the resistance of the atty.

You got that right. They forgot or weren't able to put 10.0 instead of 100. It's a common them of Chinese whoops.

the smoke zmax has no room to display the decimal point after 9.5 the "100" is actually only 10.
the SIGELEI version of the ZMAX fixed that with a OLED screen.

Hehe, the math really isn't important with variable wattage since no matter what resistance your atty or carto is your prefered wattage will remain the same. You'll get the same result from 3 ohm atty as a 1.5 ohm one if your wattage is set at 8, but you'll have to change the voltage if you're using variable voltage mode. The level you like with watts, 8.5 to 9, is a pretty good level to be at. High enough for a good vape but not so high to burn your eliquid.

upon closer inspection that would appear to be the case... at first it looks like there is a dot down there for a decimal but the spacing between the last 2 digits is closer.
