His real name was Smitty Ms. Nevada, had to give him something else. He's got his sweet side so he can get his way, and his evil for the same purpose. Smeagol fit. :) My love for LOTR is shown with every post, the name is sindar (Mithrandir was Gandalf's name amongst the elves)... I better stop now before this becomes another lotr ot thread... All our animals have either tv show, movie, or norse god names with the exception of Sovie and Demon. My great aunt raised Dobermans and as homage the lab/lab mixes have been named after them.

Ms. Keelalagirl lol He is fluffy or puffy... Though to the wife, he's the fat &$$hole right now...

Never owned (should say owned by) a cat before Ms. Eleanor. My mom is deathly allergic so never had one growing up. They all act like this?

Pretty much. The saying is true, and worthy to be believed: "Dogs have masters. Cats have staff."

My cats have all been super-sweet 90% of the time, but that's just because I'm so well-trained!:)

It's a pleasure to defend you, Morandir, when you have been unjustly accused. I do not care for injustice. (And perhaps it's a little frustrated maternal instinct . . . Mama bear and all that!:D)

I was appalled to see a familiar troublemaker attacking Mordie like that. I'm glad you were here to stand up for him. I wouldn't have been as nice as you were, so just as well you got there before me.
LOL

That's how my Maggy is. I just extend the back of my hand and let her come pet herself on it. She tugs at my elbow when she wants something, usually just to play. Good thing she doesn't talk much. If she was a kid it would be like: mom? hey mom, mom? Mommmm! Hey Mom?

It's funny, I just woke up in the wee hours this morning for no apparent reason, fired up the ol' PC, and whaddyaknow . . . there's a mole that needs whackin'! Err -- I mean, a fellow who needs to be reasoned with. Heh.

It must be those Momma Bear instincts!:p

Yes, there was a disturbance in the force. Must have been what called me back here. :)

My Drusus (RIP -- Oct. 2009) was very particular about when he was in the mood for love, and when he wasn't. When he wasn't, he gave the old "slink underneath and escape the hand" routine; when he was, he would come up and bite me on the elbow(!). "Mommy you're so cute I have to bite you!"

I have a Burmese mix, who absolutely cannot get enough of the sound of his own voice!:(

P.S. Starsong -- nice to see you! Hope all is well with you!

lol...that is definitely the siamese in him....does he have the scratchy voice like the siamese? I have a...well...not sure what he is other than a tuxedo cat:)....he likes to talk too, not as much as the burmese or siamese, but he does his fair share...he is another one that will not take no for an answer....he wants in my lap there is no deterring him....I get to the point I get tired of putting him back on the ground and just deal with it.....Cats are so funny:) So many similarities but they really do have very distinct personalities....

Silly question here:
Is the waffle much different then the pancake? Love the pancake, vape it every morning to get me going, it's breakfast. But haven't tried the waffle yet.

I have yet to try the pancake (it's in my order though)....but....from my understanding is that the pancake is sweeter than the waffle....

I get a nice buttery sweetness like a belgan waffle out of the waffle cartos...and it's not a heavy sweetness IMO very light and well....I hate waffles but like the waffle cartos....and I love pancakes (hope that doesn't mean I won't like the juice).

Oh yes. The whole package: Loudness, twang, and constancy!

Awwww....I kinda miss that...my mom had a siamese when I was younger....loved that cat and he REALLY loved her...nose nipping and all. I want a Tonkinese, but I am such a sucker for strays and all the other unwanted that I probably will never own one. But that's okay...I love my no breed kitties

I love what this thread has turned into. :)

Ms. Star and Ms. Eleanor thank you. You two are amazing.

Ms. Keelalagirl Loki does kinda talk... He makes all sorts of grunts and other noises at random times. Especially when watching pit boss and we're making too much noise. He loves Shortie. The moment he hears his voice he comes running into the room so he can watch.
