haha! this is a great post!

when i first started vaping i was saving a hellof a lot of money. i would spend about 15 bucks a week on cigarettes, not too bad but still.
i purchased a starter kit for about 40 bucks, including juice, and i didnt spend a dime for about 4 months. then i baught a different kit for $90, then i baught a vamo, then i bought tons of juice, then i baught tons of tanks, then i got into rbas......

hey.. if you do it right, then you WILL save money! but for me it is more like a hobby. i just baught my poldiac for 250 and i am loving it. sure im spending more money collecting mods and stuff, but its a great hobby to share with your friends! (if they vape).

hope this helps!!:toast:

I'm spending WAY more on e-cigs than I spent on cigarettes. Juices, heads, batts, gadgets, cases, ZA stash of nicotine, more juice, did I say juice?

4th FT Order just working through HKP, 5th one still in the cart. Deliveries today from GLV and MBV. Nichrome from e-Bay next Tues (along with the ammo pouches). 510 airflow adjusters due next wednesday.

Strangely, that actually doesn't bother me. I just REALLY REALLY hope I will run out of cool stuff to buy for a couple of months!!!!!

P.S. Sad part is that BV I did RYO, so cigarettes only cost about $1/pack, even though the name brands are over $10/pack here. Only ups my break-even point by a couple of decades....

For a very long time vaping was never about saving money for me. I spent the same as I'd been spending for smoking on vaping for about 2 and a half years and loved being able to try out lots of different vaping toys :D The good thing about that was that along the way I collected a stash of vaping toys that will last me for many years if I want it to. :) About 7 months ago now I lost my desire to keep buying new stuff so I stopped. Every once in a while its still fun to try something new, BUT that's pretty rare now and I expect that to stay that way long into my future :)

Thanks to all the great people here with their helpful posts and replies, this new vaporing guy is starting to see some economy. I started with the Halo G6 starter kit, which turned out to be a good choice to begin with. I just wish in the short time I have been vaping I knew before what I know now. Still, you have to try things to really know what works for you. I tried going the prefilled and refillable cartridge way (I guess because I wanted to be discrete), but quickly learned that clear mini tanks are way better than the taste of polyfill, and the mess filling cartridges. Easy to fill, better tasting, and easy to see how much juice is in it. The heck with being discrete. It still seems much like a real cig, though one day I will get one of those big fancy things for home use. I might try DYI liquid making down the road, but one $5 7ml bottle from Halo lasts as long as a $8 pack of cigs. And I know there are coupons and deals out there, and the variety is a big bonus. And the healthier choice benefit.

after 41 days vaping I was $175 up, despite spending $400 already. Then couldn't help myself, bought a few more clearos, heaps of DIY gear, some VG premixed flavors and a load of nic from RTS (can't get nic liquid in Aus). So I'm about even again. However, I'm v v happy & its becoming a hobby. I've enough juice to (technically!) last a couple a years and other kit for a year. So I'm set. Analogues are so expensive down under that its impossible not to save!! :) :)
