Wait time for shipment

Sooooo I decided I wanted to buy an e-cig, looked at reviews EVERYWHERE for a few days and decided to go with Halo. Ordered the G6 starter kit along with the gourmet sampler. They gave me the tracking number but it says "not available". I'm guessing UPS messed up somewhere. Anyone know the average wait time? I live like 20 mins from Miami

The tracking number gets assigned when the shipping label is printed, sometimes it takes up to 48 hours for the tracking numbers to update online. Please contact customer service with your order number or tracking number if you don't see an update soon.

My last 2 orders have been "nothing, nothing, nothing" then all of sudden it updates to delivered and is sitting on my doorstep. My experience with USPS tracking has always been like this. UPS/FedEx seem to be a bit more real time.

My halo shipments generally ship next day if order in the late afternoon or night and the same day if I order early morning. Tracking numbers get assigned but don't show on the USPS site for a day or two. USPS tracking updates usually happen after 8pm except when they go out for delivery. Never had any issues with Halo shipping. Halo was a little backed up when the Triton tank product launched. They also went live with a new website at the same time. It took them an extra day to get my shipments out. Seems that it's back to regular shipping times again!

Yes, I should clarify, my issue was with the USPS tracking info and site. The emails I get from Halo to notify that it shipped are always within a day. After that, it's kind of out of their hands. I ordered this AM actually around 9 and had a tracking # (that has no activity) by noon.

Halo shipped my order in a few hours.
USPS tracking link goes to nowhere.
This has happened before with other vendors.
I wish every site had $8 two day fedex like Volcano!

I have made numerous orders from Halo. Tracking info usually arrives within 24 hours and can take about that long to be activated at USPS. I live in Northern VA and so far every order seems to arrive in 3 days with the priority option. Day one is shipping date, two days to travel and arrival on fourth day. I think I even had my last order arrive on the 3rd day after the ship date! I love using USPS because the boxes are always in my mailbox and not sitting in front of my door or sent to the leasing office. So frustrating when an order arrives but the office is closed by the time I get home! Been really happy with the cost & speed of priority via USPS so far!

Seems that the speed/quality of USPS delivery is somewhat location-based. Here in CT, I have never had any problems with USPS at all...in fact, pretty consistent delivery times and no problems with tracking delivery dates. I have friends in other parts of the country who have experienced less success with USPS however.
