Hey Guys

Just wanted to introduce myself,

I have been lurking around here for the last 2 weeks trying to gather as much information as I possibly could and have done a lot of reading, googling, and youtube-ing. First of all I want to say that this in an incredible community and provides a wealth of knowledge.

I just had my first vape of a buddy's blue and decided that I needed to take the plunge but also knew that the blue wasn't going to cut it if I really wanted to get rid of the death sticks. So I made my order:

Red Oak (VG) Sample pack from Johnson Creek juice (had to support the local guys)

Can't wait for FedEx to show up with all of my goodies.

A little about my self - I am an audio engineer and work a lot of studio and live gigs and having the ability to vape while working with out having to go outside is going to be an incredible advantage to my work flow. I can't wait to give up analogues all together and get my self on the right track.

Welcome aboard. I'm vaping Red Oak Domestic at this very moment. A lot of people seem to be really hit or miss on the Johnson Creek stuff but I actually like it quite a bit.

Sounds like you started with a pretty decent kit. But I give you two months tops before you buy into an eGo or Riva to go along with it. lol As my buddy sitting next to me right now at the office said... vaping a Riva feels like smoking the end of an XLR cable.

He's and audio engineer and I'm a video and motion graphics pro. We vape in the office all day long. So you're in good company.

Its so much fun getting new stuff in the mail. I'm usually staring out my apartment window waiting for the mailman to walk up. I catch him before he gets in the door. Saves precious knock time in which I can be ripping open my box/bag/crate lol

Anyways, it was a good move to NOT buy a Blue e cig. They are 100% freak'n garbage.
The Volcano Magma is much better, the reviews are fairly and mostly positive.
If you get a LR 510 atty for it you might feel like you are power vaping on a 6v mod.
You might want to get a 510 passthrough so your batteries last longer.

Don't forget to try lots of e juices. Everyone seems to be on a never ending quest to seek out the best e juice, myself included. You'll get board with your favorites and have to join the hunt sooner or later. Always buy enough juice to last you while your next shipment is on its way.
I always try to have 10 days plus at a minimum in reserve.
One last thing, don't pay $1.00+ per mil. There are so very many good e juice vendors out there and some are .35 - 60 cents per mil and are great.
