Guys, Can I try 2 drops of water on a dried out catridge?
Just plain water won't do it. Down the road your gonna need to get some PG ot Vg anyway if you are gonna refill your carts or DIY. Do as geeker miss vapor says, find a feed store, michaels or even walfart and buy some VG or PG. If you insist on water you will need to thin out VG as it is thick. Use your water in the mix of VG.
Good luck!!!

What department in Walmart would carry VG? I'm out of low and no nic carts, & was thinking of diluting my medium strength liquid - which is giving me a headache anyway - until my Juicy Liquid order arrives.

Would appreciate an "emergency recipe" to tide me over. Thanks!

Turns out I can't read the forums fast enough to learn all the things that come up about this new adventure.

You can usually find VG in the health foods section. I got mine at Whole foods and its called NOW Vegetable Glycerin. Be sure the read the label and see that it is 100% VG. You'll find that the smaller, more expensive, bottle is VG with water.

For flavoring use the stuff from the baking isle. Make sure it is in a PG suspension, most are, and has no additives that can not be safely vaped (no oil) mix slowly in a small bottle adding flavor till it tastes the way you want it too. G/L

It is in the cosmedic section. If all the stores are laid out the same, It is near the pharmacy dept. I beleive the brand is Humco. Some have reported that this brand is not the best to use tho? I would do Michaels. They sell the Wiltons. I use it and tastes great. Make sure all VG you all buy us USP grade. It MUST say USP on the bottle. If not, Stay away from it.

Thanks to both of you for the info. Honestly, I'd be lost without all the nice folks here that are so willing to help. to you.

Bought the very last bottle of Wilton Glycerin at Michaels, which interestingly enough, says nothing about being food grade or USP other than it's for "restoring icing colors". Their website doesn't say either, but it's 100% glycerin and in the cake/candy-making section, so I figure it's safe.

So if this is the same as the VG sold at the various ejuice suppliers, why isn't everyone using the Wilton's (at 2.29 for 59mL/2oz) versus the 30mL bottles sold by the suppliers at the same price? Or is it the same?

Enquiring minds want to know...

I don't really mix my own for flavor. I just cut it to lower strength and make it last longer.

I have used the stuff out of Michael's as well and it worked fine.

I imagine that people buy the stuff from the vapor dealers for convenience. it's just one more click to add it to the order and you don't have to go into a health-food or craft store. They also tend to throw in the droppers, smaller mixing vials, and other accouterments of the mixing experience.

Besides, try explaining to the cashier at the health food store that your buying their VG so you can smoke it.

Used the Wilton Glycerin in my NoNic cart and discovered that it tastes like Crayola crayons (oh, you know you did it too;)), and reminds me that getting back the sense of taste isn't always a good thing.

So it's not horrible, but leaves a waxy aftertaste. It produces a ton of vapor though, and will help me stretch out what I have until my supplies arrive.

Flavorings are going to be a must-have. Not negotiable.
