Waiting for the mail man

I haven't been this excited about a purchase in years!!!! I have been sucking on my nicotrol inhaler like a pacifier, can't wait to start "smoking" again! I haven't smoked an analog since 8pm Tuesday, March 22. I got the nicotrol to keep me until my ecig got here adn will keep them around in case I run out of supplies.

I still have cigs in the house, mostly to give to my friends who still smoke. I have been tempted, but I just remind myself how much I was annoyed by the whole act of smoking.

it was/is very exciting. Once you have the little things down, and get to a comfortable place with vaping, it is incredibly good. Sitting at my work desk with my SB/510 atty dripping through a stainless T-Tip and loving life. Congrats on your purchase and good luck!

Best of luck Glo82. I've officially made it a week as of about an hour ago. It is a transition but it gets better every day for me.

Even though it's only been a week, I enjoy the flavor of vaping much more than I ever did Marlboros. I look forward to that as well as the built in nicotine hit. lol. While I was making that mental switch, though and was tempted....I asked myself:

1. What else do you wanna do with that 5 bucks instead of smoke it? Because the money is still in the bank.

2. You don't stink. You smell like shampoo, soap and clean clothes. Why would you want to stink?

3. Do you really want to trudge out to the side of the road and smoke next to open traffic on a highway? Or do you want to close your office door and vape whenever you want?

Those were my big three motivators. I'm sure others have different ones. What are some of yours, fellow newbies or not so newbies?

As someone said to me in my welcome thread: you're about to become best friends with your mailman!

Vaping is so much better than smoking ever was. I've been at it for two weeks now and don't ever want to go back to analogs. Good luck!

Best of luck to you on your new journey! I'm still fairly new, but I feel this was the best way for me to get off of analogues, & I was right. I bet you'll feel the same way. Once you start vaping, if you take a drag of a cig, it just tastes nasty. Anyway good luck and welcome to the forum.

I'm currently waiting for the mailman, too. I'm also waiting for my first-ever ecig. I ordered from V4L. Today is business day number 10, so I'm pretty hopeful that it'll arrive today (USPS int'l to Mexico ships in 6-10 days). My Johnson Creek welcome to E-smoking kit arrived yesterday, which was the tenth business day for that package.

It's hard having all that juice but not having any batts or cartos to start using it.

lol untamed I am sure you will love your 510, I am actually trying to convert a friend of mine from his blu cig to a 510 because he enjoys the blu but its just not enough to make him totally give up analogs and think the 510 is what he needs.

I am waiting too, but I don't think stalking a Federal Employee will make things go your way. Not sure if they let you vape in prison.

My ecig is here and I am enjoying the hell out of it. Bought lots of supplies and plenty of juices to try out since v4l is having a sale!

Yeah, I was embarrassed to use the damn inhaler in public, but it did keep me from smoking analogs the 2 days I was waiting for my ecig to come.

The ecig is cool, and I have been showing it off to everyone!
