Well I started out with an njoy starter kit I found at Walmart. Yuck. OK at first, no need for analogs the first 4 days or so. Then the prefilled, disposable cartos ran out (sigh) and really 18 wasn't near strong enough for me. One even turned brown and some liquid came off on my lip. So after reading here and some reviews I saw, I ordered my kit from Halo. Love that it's made right here in the good old USA. Have no idea if the liquid I ordered will be good but found some local places here that carry some plus my regular smoke shop is gonna let me know flavors available to order what sounds good to me. How cool is that? Also I liked the looks of Bull Smoke site and the csrts will fit my new battery. Well I learned my lesson, the disposable ones cost too much, so I'll be a drippin' fool from now on. Like the idea of mixing flavors, too. So glad to have found this site! So, alas, here I sit sucking on analogs for a few more days. Sure felt better when I wasn't and I noticed that as soon as I went back to the analogs my gums started to hurt. Has that happened to anyone here?

Ok.. stalking the mailman is acceptable, just try to smile and not scare him. He will be a very important person in your life :). Gum problems are very common when switching to vaping - took me a few months to go back to normal. Don't worry about going back to analogs. For me, a few days of vaping and analogs tasted like a garbage pail. Just vape and scale back on the cigs and you won't want them after a short while.

Welcome to the ECF and Congrats on switching to vaping!!

triquetra, my gums never hurt, but i have a thread on here about the canker sores that popped up when i quit analogs and started vaping, and how I conquered that by switching to a non SLS toothpaste. Apparently gum and canker sore issues are not uncommon to folks who quit analogs. I am not sure if it is the vaping that causes it, or the fact that we are no longer smoking and the issues arise, but regardless they seem very common.
