is the starter kit price well worth it? i heard that the battery doesn't last long. could you tell me some personal pros and cons with the eRoll? thank you!
The starter kit comes with 1 complete ecig. I recommend to buy another cone so that you can have 2 complete ones. The battery doesn't last long depending on how you use it. It comes with an extra tank to fill juice. The tank doesn't hold much actually. I was going through a pretty bad breakup when I started vaping, so I would literally chain smoke all day at my office and then at home. So I found that I had to take out the tank, and refill with juice every couple hours.
I also comes with a personal charging case that I would charge up either the night before, or at my desk with a usb. After I vaped a few times, I'd throw the eRoll into the PCC, and switch it out with the one I just used and start vaping like a mad woman. It was perfect, and totally discreet.
So, positives. Super discreet, and light weight, and resembles an analog. I haven't used any other device, but I love the throat hit, and I also love the vapor that comes out. Also, I have found it doesn't leak, and when it did leak it was because I didn't flip it upside down with the tank facing down.
Negatives. Battery doesn't last long, and when you're chain vaping, even the PCC loses it's charge. Even though the PCC shows as charging the battery, I was finding that my hits just weren't as good, and I would have to keep the PCC plugged into the USB after 2 or 3 charges of the battery. The tank is kinda small, so the amount of ejuice is limited.
If you end up buying and using one, I've found a few tricks that made it work better for me. I liked it so much, I actually went and bought another starter kit, and some extra atomizers and tanks. Apparently, you can rebuild the atomizers, but I haven't gotten to that type of tinkering yet.
Me: I was about a 8 analog/day smoker. Smoked light to regular smokes. I started off with 18mg, and tried 12mg, but found that it wasn't enough for me. I'm at 21mg, and that seems to be the sweet spot for me. I have been using 70/30 and 80/20 ratio.
Hope that helps.
