I recently ordered my first ecig its the Sidesho model by Modern Vapor. I saw a lot of great reviews on here about it but after I purchased it I noticed that most of them were over a year old. When I tried to find new reviews I couldnt find any. Do you think I made a good choice? The kit i got came with two batts and two attys. I bought an extra atty and a 5 pack of blank cartomizers and a drip tip. I know from what I heard a year ago that it was compatible with parts from a 510. I also bout 10 mL of strawberry chocolate juice and 15 mL of halos malibu menthol and changed my order around to 5 prefilled menthol and 5 prefilled tobacco. When i called the person I talked to was amazing about changing my order around to suit what i wanted. Here i am going on and on but anyway any tips or suggestions?

I may have confused you this is what i got lol
-5 blank cartos bought from modern vapor
-10 mL strawberry choc juice
-15 mL Malibu menthol juice (which you can buy from modern vapor)
-the starter kit comes with 10 prefilled carts of either menthol or tobacco when i called the lady let me change mine to instead of ten of one flavor 5 of menthol and 5 of tobacco.

I was also told one mL was equivalent to 1 pack of analogs but im noticing that people are vaping around 2 to 3 mL per day. I smoke quite a bit should I order more liquid to get me though the month

I think those are good to start on. I've never ordered from modern vapor before but they look like pretty standard 510 pen styles. Because they won't hold a huge charge the PCC will be a life saver. At that having a 510 will make it easy to get other parts. You can use most cartos, CE2s, you can drip. If I could go back and do it all again, I would have went straight to a Ego. Not to say I didn't love my tiny pen style. So I say

Hi cdewberry47481, welcome to ECF and congrats. You stated you may have to order more juice. Most new vapers vape approx 3-7 ml per week. There's also the strength of the Nicotine to take into consideration- too high a level and you get nauseous and have headaches while too small an amount and your nicotine craving is not satisfied.
Good Luck, Vapoor.

If you find 18 mg is too weak you can always get 24 and if 24 mg is too strong you can mix the 18+24 and have 21 mg. You'll find this is a very personal system and what works for one person may not work for another. Same goes with different juices- some love certain flavors while others don't. You're in the U.S. so shipping is generally very quick. I would recommend you order juices from ECF listed vendors as they have to abide by a strict code of ethics to remain listed here and if they don't provide customers with quality service and product members will call them out on it.
My favorite juices are Tobacco- RY4, DKTab and 555. Realize that there can be a HUGE difference between vendors in regards to the above flavors as they all have different recipes. I DIY now so it's not a worry and is very cheap.

I smoke menthol generally as strong as I can get lol and I got the 18 mg nic. I was worried if i got the 24 id run into it possibly being to strong.

I too smoked menthol. Halo menthol's are very good. They work well with cartos. I started with 24mg I'm now down to 18mg. 18mg should be fine. Nhaler.com has a few good menthol's. Try their nhale/xhale Nuport and 555menthol. They are 24mg only. They sell small sample size bottles. Both those are very carto friendly too.

Sounds like a great first purchase! I like menthol too. Two I like so far are Backwoods Brew Strong Menthol, and Dekang Menthol. Sometimes when I get a juice I don't like, or it's too harsh on my throat, I add some menthol, then the flavor tastes better and smoother!

edit: I just looked at what the Sideshow is; for $75, you can do a lot better. I got the Kgo for $44 from Hoosier eCigs. I don't see any specs on the battery, etc., though. I see there is a choice of manual or automatic. Manual is better.[/I]
