I ordered a few things to try my hand at rebuildables saturday. I got an igo-l, which I am hearing great things about. I also ordered 100ft of kanthal and 30ft of silica. I'm looking forward not only to rebuilding the igo-l but also rebuilding my clearos like the t3 and the protank. I have heard the airhole on the igo is slightly small for some people's taste but I don't think I will have any need to mod it, but if I do I am confident I can handle it.

WOW 100ft of wire, that'll last a day or two  I think I've used about a foot so far this year.

Proper air hole size is in direct relationship to the resistance of the coil. (the lower the resistance .. the more air is required)
I would strongly suggest starting out with coils in the 2 ohm +/- range until you become comfortable building coils, and you should find that the existing air hole size works fine at that resistance.
