Noticed in the tobacco checkout lane the other night. Apparently Mystic is now making (or branding rather) their own tanks and batteries. They are calling this line of products Haus. They have bottles of juice as well. Kind of struck me that vaping is truly becoming mainstream if you can buy a tank, juice and battery at Wal-Mart.

Irritatingly they are selling 10mls of e juice for $8 and saying its the equivalent of 2 cartons of cigarettes!

They look the same as teh Blu cigga-things you can buy at the gas station.

Is it worse because its wal mart?

Blu makes a cig a like as opposed to an actual tank and battery. This tank type setup should produce more vapor and with longer battery life. That being said I've never tried it. I'm tempted to buy the starter kit for $20 just to see how it performs and if its worth recommending to newbies.

Considering Wal-Marts open 24 hrs its true it would def make a good setup/juice in an emergency. I would wonder how old the juice is sitting on a shelf at Wal-Mart though. Also didn't see any variety for nic or pg vg.

Note: Took a second look at the Mystic site and noticed they are supporting the FDAs regulations and see them as positive. Don't think I'll be giving them my $ or recommending them to anyone.

People are going to buy these kits and some will make the switch, but others will feel ripped off when they realize 10ml isn't even close to 2 cartons. It's barely 2 packs of smokes. And they're gonna be discouraged from switching to vaping.

Over priced juice but.... that could be good for people who have emergencies - lost their pv and their back up pv breaks or dies - those scenarios we see where people are waiting on vape mail and its late. An ego size batt, or small ego, with clearo and juice from Walmart. Who'da thunk it.

How much is it?

According to Mystic its $25 for the battery, usb charger, lanyard, and clearo. The 10ml juice is bought separate - for $8. The ego looks to be a mini ego - my guess is around 350 mah - which would be about 3-3.5 hours vape time. Its pricey for what it is but not so pricey you wouldn't grab one in an emergency, or if travelling and no charged up pv to hand.

That's not bad, certainly less expensive than at a gas station, shopping mall kiosk or probably most vape shops.

Haus™ Personal Vaporizer Now at Walmart Stores in Oklahoma

No. 1 E-Cig Brand at World’s Largest Retailer Begins U.S. Rollout of its Personal Vaporizer in the Sooner State

February 24, 2014 08:05 AM Eastern Standard Time

CHARLOTTE, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Haus™ Personal Vaporizer by Mistic®, maker of high quality, value-priced electronic cigarettes and vapor products, is now selling at more than 75 Walmart stores throughout Oklahoma.

“We are one of the first brands to rollout a personal vaporizer at the national retail level”

Mistic announced last month that its Haus™ Personal Vaporizer will be available countrywide this spring, reaching 15,000 locations across multiple national retail chains, including Walmart, Circle K, The Pantry, H-E-B, Winn-Dixie and Bi-Lo.

“We have received lots of positive feedback from our customers asking us when and where they can purchase a Haus Personal Vaporizer,” said John Wiesehan Jr., CEO at Mistic. “Demand for tank-like systems like Haus continues to grow among retailers and consumers and we are thrilled that our personal vaporizer is now selling at Walmart stores in Oklahoma.”

Retailing for $19.97 at Walmart, the Haus Personal Vaporizer will be sold as a complete starter system, offering current adult smokers even more choices to switch to a unique alternative that minimizes many of the negative effects of traditional tobacco. Five distinct blends will be available to use with Haus, retailing at $6.97 at Walmart for a 10mL tamper- and child-proof, slow-drip bottle.

The introduction of the Haus Personal Vaporizer comes at a time when Mistic has become the best-selling brand of e-cigarettes at Walmart, based in part on data reported by Nielsen’s Brand Rank Report for the 13 weeks ending Nov. 23, 2013.

“We are one of the first brands to rollout a personal vaporizer at the national retail level,” said Wiesehan. “Our leadership position at Walmart and reputation for quality, taste and value enables us to successfully extend the Haus brand across mass merchandise, convenience, dollar store and grocery retail channels.”

All their juice is 24 mg/ml... pretty stout with no options for lower nic.

This alone would prevent me from ever buying their juice. 24 is way too harsh for me.

I do think the pricing is somewhat reasonable all things considered but I wont buy from them based on their
backing of the FDAs regulations, which I very much disagree with.
