Wall Charger and New 902 Batteries?

I just got a new style 902 kit and the batteries don't seem to work in the wall charger. I looked on the website and it said that the wall charger was universal. I drained the batteries and cleaned both the battery and wall charger contacts and it doesn't do anything when I screw it in, even really tight. I plug in my old style 902 battery and it flickers within 5 seconds and starts charging.

That's weird. Something is wrong because I can confirm that I have the wall charger and have no problem charging new and old 902 batteries on it. Bought my wall charger about 4 months ago or so.

I got mine about 8 months ago with my original order and old style 902 kit. I looked and the depth of the connector looks roughly about the same, so I don't know why it's not working.
