hey i dont know if it is me or maybe my wall charger, but if i put a dead bat on the charger and leave it for like 20 min and come back its green and "fully charged" so i screw on the cart take a drag and i can tell its not fully charged so i put it back on and the light stays red for another 20 min then what do you know its green, but it never seems "fully charged" so question

1. does it continue charging when the light is green?

2. how long should it take for a 99% dead battery to charge take since a battery cant become 100% uncharged.

3. and is it safe to leave it plugged in over night if its fully charged halfway through the night

1. In my experience, yes.
2. If I want to ensure a good/full charge, I leave them charging for 6-8 hours.
3. I do.

I don't know why the light goes green prematurely, in my opinion. It is a bit frustrating not being able to be sure that it's fully charged. I've just adjusted my habits according to my experience ... which led to my conclusions provided above.

YMMV,

i have a usb charger and its red and green which seems to work half as well as my wall charger. but ok ill just leave the thing on the charger all night and not worry about it. however i do have like 6 batts. and 3 chargers so i have to switch them out a lot... which is why i wish i knew if it was fully charged when i take it off. ( V4L you should design a battery power meter on the batterys just a thought to move you about the rest of the compotition ) and a double or quad charger

i had a bad wall charger for my ego the light was always red ..plugged in the usb and that always stayed green..took the usb put it in the computer and that started out red then FLICKERS to green ..when its totally green after 2 hrs..your good to go. Got a new wall charger plugged in the usb and it worked fine. If your usb works ok w/ the computer but not w/ the wall unit the wall unit is no good.

You can charge LiIon batteries (applies to all V4L batts) any time for however long you want. No memory, discharge requirements, or charge saturation issues. If you are storing them (spares for instance), refrigerate with about 2/3 full charge and they will last quite a while. The biggest detriment to LiIon longevity is heat, believe it or not!
