First off I gotta say, that I have been vaping almost a year now and almost from the beginning I have been a carto user. A feeder just didn't appeal to me. I like cartos and now tanks. But lately I'm thinking I would like a mini silver for in the car, and out and about. At this time I only use attys to test my diy juices, but may decide to use attys on the Reos. I just ordered an i06 1.5Ω from Ikenvape to try. They are kinda expensive, especially if they don't last too long for normal use. As I'm trying to save a little extra for a trip to Texas in May, it will probably be late May before I do this. So in the meantime I will be around the Reos forum here reading and learning. Ahh, only a couple months away. :)

I'm new to Reos, but thought I'd let you know you can use cartos with Reos - I am, and I'm very happy with the performance.

Cartomizers as well as atomizers work on the REO's. You just don't fill a cartomizer first. Put it on squonk some juice in it and vape.

There are many places to get attys that are not expensive. I buy mine in bulk here: http://www.vaporkings.com/Joye-510-1-5-Ohm-LR-e-cigarette-10-pack-atomizers-p/510-atom-bulkpack-lowres-stnls.htm Not a bad price of $4.65 each. Those are great attys also.

The sticky threads here hold a wealth of information. I would suggest reading those to further your knowledge.

Get ready to experience hassle free vaping with a REO!

FYI XLR 1.5 i06 is good for longevity. I've been using one for a month on my Vmod XL (hint). It was neccessary for me to make a tube for it, but no headache to do that with a simple pipe cutter and an old carto.

Lemme get outta here before I get lynched for mentioning the best contender against REOs.

Vmod XL rocks!

KTHXBAI!

No worries Dougiestyle - lots of REOnauts enjoy other PVs as well :)

For my money though, I'd rather have a REO, a superbly crafted mod that does not depend on proprietary cartos & such, affording me the freedom to use a variety of cartos and atomizers and drip tips, and even amp up the voltage to 5 or 6v vaping if I want to

Man, the more I look at the silver mini...ooh that is sweet.
Do you find that you get a better hit with an atty than you do with a carto?
The wife and I get our taxes done the 1st of March, and if we do well, hmmm, maybe....... Ah jeez, this is gonna be rough.

hi oplholik :)

I have a two silver minis -- they are quite awesome little vaping machines whether you use a carto or an atty  I have used both - and right now I am loving my hh357  It's a matter of personal preference really, but the REO mini makes your vape with any of these just wonderful :D

I hope that if you spend your hard earned $$$ on a REO, that like me, you will feel that it is the best money you ever *used on vaping ! :D

*Note that I said "used" and not "spent," because your REO will give you a vaporful return on your investment everyday! :vapor:

Well, I can't compare atomizers to cartos since I've yet to try a carto, but I can say that the silver *is* sweet. I have a black one, too, and somehow the silver's surface feels more silky.

FWIW The Vmod XL is 510 compatible (hence the i06 I use). It takes 18650 3.7v or 4.8 or stacked 3v CRs. I've tried a REO at a local vape meet and must say the Vmod XL is far more comfortable in the hand with the half-round sides and the window for squishing the bottle being a radius-cut makes this thing the winner in my book. It's still all-mechanical. It features a button lock (by rotating the button) and is quite sturdy with the aluminum case. I have yet to get on drop of spillage with the chimney well. The Vmod XL makes it hard to flood atties in the fact that it's a invert-squish bottomfeeder. If you ever over-squeeze, just squeeze with it right-side-up and it'll suck the excess nicquid back into the bottle.

The 14650 Vmod V1 had an issue with proprietary atties, but that will be addressed by the rumored V2.0 14650 Vmod incorporating the new, improved feed system of the XL.

The XL is approximately 3/4 as wide as a REO Grand, also. Function and form and half the cost of a REO!

Hmmm isn't Vmod the same folks that make the hybrid atty? Yeah...I'll have to pass on that one but I'm glad someone enjoys one.
