Clones don't bother me at all.
If it works, I'll vape it.

That being said, my absolute favorite RDA is my authentic Tugboat V2.
The Steamboat clone is functionally identical, and 1/4th the price. Also definitely worth looking into.

The Derringer clones are out now. They seem to be the latest rage. Pretty inexpensive from what I've seen.

Personally, I'm more towards flavor. Have done quite a number of research on RDAs and find that most favored are magma, plume veil, tugboat and veritas.

I realized you asked about a RDA, or dripper but I know of a couple tanks with such a great flavor you might consider them as well but first the dripper. The big dripper is a great product! It actually functions correctly which is great for a automatic dripper! The tank holds lots of liquid and it gives a great flavor. You won't have to keep filling the wick with juice because when the wick goes dry, simply press down on the drip tip (fits any tip)and it will expelled the juice directly to the wick. I have a few different brands of automatic dripper and this one is by far the best! Works exactly as it should!! Now for the tanks that taste like your dripping, the first is the Taifun GT 2. It's a remade Taifun that now has airflow control. The flavor this tank produces is amazing! I vape mine at around 20 watts without any issues.you could probably go higher and not get a burn with this tank. It's one of the best flavor producers I've ever tried ( and I have quite a collection of RTA and RDAs) it's very much worth trying. The next RTA that gives a amazing flavor is the GENUINE Russian 91% by Kebo. I have many Kayfun and Russian clones but they don't even come close to the flavor of the Genuine Russian 91%. Yes it's pretty pricey but it's off the hook with the flavor!! I was blown away by the difference between the kayfun and Russian clones and the Genuine Russian! Tastes as good as dripping and might be worth considering. But if you want taste and don't want to spend that much you will definitely not be disappointed in the newer style Taifun GT 2. It's a flavor monster! Hope this helps and wish you the best!

I'll have to look at the derringer I've never heard of that one before but I'm leaning towards the plume veil or tug boat and I do love my tanks both my lemo and my kanger sub tank mini I mainly use them when I'm on the go so I don't have any leaking issues my manger is fairly new so I've been using that more then my lemo I haven't even done a build on it yet still using the original .5 ohm occ coil head on it

The best RDA's for flavor are those that incorporate direct-to-coil airflow. I can think of five of them off the top of my head (could be others)...

Magma
Veritas
Viking
Plume Veil
Achilles

They all produce similar flavor quality. I prefer the Veritas because it is the best in terms of leak resistance...by a good margin too The Achilles is also very leak resistant but is a single coil only. the Plume Veil has low capacity but is a leaker...big time. But it does blow clouds better than the others. The Magma is also a leaker but does produce good flavor.

Well I do have the freakshow which I'm loving and the airflow comes from right under the coils its good but can't do to many builds on it I just do a dual center post build

I'll add another vote for a Plume Veil. Yes, they can leak more than other RDAs, but there's a simple fix. Wick through one coil, up and over the center post block, and down through the other coil. Then just drip straight down through the drip tip, 8-10 drops. Make sure the two pieces of wick on the deck don't come near the negative post airholes. Only over-dripping will make it leak. Best combination of flavor and clouds I've found to date.

If you are interested in getting a RDA with a tank (RTA) I would look at the Lemo and Lemo Drop. They hold 2.5 mL and 5.0 mL, great for once you find your ADV

I have a magma clone I got from tobeco for 9 bucks... it't pretty kickass for flavor.... the new aeolus or however you spell it is supposed to be the stuff!
