I have been using KR808's for 8 months now and want to move to a mod. I'm interested in the Silver Bullet but am confused as to what exactly I need in addition to the PV. Can someone tell me what I need as far as battery type, adaptors, atomizers, charger??

I would like to be able to use the cartomizers that I have now with the Silver Bullet since I have a lot of them. If I use just the atomoizer, do I need a drip tip too?

Thanks. :unsure:

You can run your SB at 3.7 or 6v so 3.7 Batts or 2 x 3.0v batts the trustfire TR-001 would be your 3.7 charger and 18650 batts work great in the SB. The TR-138 does both 3.0 & 3.6 and this is a good charger. I highly recommend AW batteries as well they are of a very good quality. I have a couple of SB's and they are a nice unit, you may also want to consider the Omega that Chad makes too, this is just a bit more comfy in the hand and appears smaller but its just as tall, if I had my choice I would take the Omega though. I have both because I am spoiled when it comes to his building capabilities of mods, everything he makes is of a very high quality. PM me if you want some more info on them and I will steer you in the right direction.

The Silver Bullet (as do all of Chad's mods) has a 510 connector. You will need the 510 -> 901/Kr808 adapter (Rob sells the good quality ones). It just adds about 1/4" to the connector and converts the 510 threads to KR808D threads. As above, the SB takes a 18650 size battery for 3.7v vaping (probably what you are doing now) and will fit (2) CR123a batteries for 6v vaping.

So what you would need:
1 Silver Bullet
1 510 -> 901/KR808 adapter
1 18650 battery (2 is good. It will last about 1.5 days and takes about 3 hours to recharge.)
1 battery charger for the above battery(s)

Drip tip? If you don't need one now then you won't need one with the SB.
I use a delrin drip tip with cartomizers because I really like the contour and texture of the delrin drip tip over the straight round tube of the cartomizers (and they don't get warm/hot). No other reason.

I think I'm going to go with the SB because I like the placement of the button. I have a GLV-2 and the button is on the top and with my small hands, I start to get a cramp in my thumb if I keep it in position for too long. Thus, I think for me the SB vs. the Omega would be a better choice. Though, I wish they had the SB in purple or pink!

I have both and you're right on there. The Omega is sort of uni-position in that you're always going to be firing it by pressing your thumb on the top (and it takes more effort than the silky smooth button on the SB). With the SB the button is perfectly/ergonomically placed right under your thumb, or finger tip, or middle of your finger, or....

rdytoquit - You'll want an adaptor (510 bat to 808) and you should be able to use your cartos with a SB just fine. I use a 510-801 adaptor to use my pen style atomizers. Works great. You will also want to make sure those batteries are protected. Personally, I prefer my BB to my SB, but the 18650 battery in the SB just goes on and on and on.
