I dont drip often, generally just to try out new juices I make. I found a copy of a reproduction of a clone at the Flea Market for $7.

It works great for my needs. You might want to look at places like that if you just want it for very occasional use.

I've been a big fan of the A7 (not a cloud chaser). I use a simple 2.2-2.4 ohm micro style coil wrapped around three strands of 0.8mm silica.
It's simple and trouble free, I get 2-3 months use out of a build, and a little 8 amp Efest IMR 18500 is all the battery necessary for the ~2a draw.
Vapes a lot like a kayfun.

I agree on the A7. I'm not much of a dripper but it's very easy to coil.

Find a dripper with a well. I was strictly an rba guy until I found some RDAs have deep wells, now all I own are RDAs. These are the best IMO in no apparent order:
Magma
Origen V2
Signet Star
454 big block
Tugboat
Plume veil

You can build them with single coil as well.

RDAs also helps when you wanna drop the nic level of your juice. I went from a 6mg to 3mg cause your taking more vape in.
