I've been pondering this move for quite some time and I think I'm about to finally push forward with it.

The 510 cartomizers have been very popular and like the Joye 510 products, work very very well.

To be honest, and some of you know this already, I've been having a lot of issues with the KR808D-1 products. This is mostly due to constant inconsistencies in the products they send me. I'm not sure if it's done by stupidity or on purpose, but I'm tired of it. Last month I ordered almost 1000 push button passthrough cables and they sent me the wrong ones. These kind of constant errors add to my stress level like you can't believe.

My plan is to liquidate all the KR808D-1 products I have in stock for absolutely stupid prices. I would still stock the batteries since many people seem to like them but I would completely discontinue the KR808D-1 cartomizer line...except for blank cartridges.

Then...

Bring the full cartomizer flavor lineup BACK but in the 510 form factor. The batteries and other hardware is more reliable and it would benefit us and you the consumer. I also have another "feature" up my sleeve which will greatly benefit you but I cannot give any details right now about it.

No holds barred, give me your thoughts. This will take a lot of work and money for me to execute but I'm 99% ready to pull the trigger.

Thanks
Rob

I also want to add that I'm not going to leave the KR808D-1 customers in the dark and make them buy a 510 kit to continue using our cartridges. Anyone who buys from me on a regular basis and uses the KR808D-1 batteries regularly I'd be happy to give you a free 808 to 510 adapter so you can continue to use the KR808D-1 parts you've invested in.

Ya know, since I tried the 510 cartomizers a couple of days ago (on the GGTS), I have not felt the same way about kr808 cartos. Nonetheless, I haven't used batts much since getting the GGTS, so other than being able to buy the 510 cartos prefilled, it wouldn't affect me much. Anyway, I think it comes down to this - if you are not receiving consistent products from your kr8 supplier and it's causing headaches for you (and possibly buyers - I don't know, maybe you intercept them all), then that decision sounds justifiable.

Personally, I think the switch to the 501 cartos is a good idea. They are... really good.

Rob, I can't blame you for your thinking or your plans, especially since I may be more aware than most of the issues you've had. You have my full support no matter what you decide. I've been a customer of yours for a long long time and I don't see that changing.

I have really fallen in love with the (for lack of a better term) premium BLANK 808 cartos and/or the equivalent thereof. After using those for a while, the standard are hard to go back to. I guess I need to add a disclaimer to my last statement. I have not yet put a standard 808 blank cart on my GGTS at either 6 volt or higher. Who knows, maybe that would light a fire in them (not literally speaking). :D

My habits have changed somewhat since that GGTS landed in my hands. Started using it at 6 volts about a week ago and it's getting harder and harder to even run it at 3.7v.:lol:

Now, with everything I've just said, I have to admit my mind keeps thinking about the AFS for my TS. And of course, do I get AFS V2 or wait for the GGTS AFS. <sigh> And naturally, an AFS would sorta render my cartos obsolete, except for a "change of pace". I'll shut up now, I've gotten way off topic. Sorry.

Rob here is the deal what i think.... as everyone is aware of the 510 cartos have come out and they are fantastic. i myself bought them from you and love them. they also have put out from other supplierws new KR808 cartos that are fantastic also. the KR808 im talking about are the premiums and the Turbos and they are fantastic as well. I still think your 510 cartos are great. i have used a few from different suppliers. as you know i buy from your friend Shawn and you and someone else and i have all different suppliers 510 cartos. yours and Shawns are the best out of all the suppliers. so different suppliers make different 510 s cartos. so you are getting your 510 cartos from a good source as your i think are better quality than the others. Shawns and yours are about even. and like i said before i think the new 510 cartos are better than the new KR808 cartos. so i support your decision and i also do not blame you in doing something about it. China is really screwing up a lot of suppliers lately. i feel for you as a supplier and i und3erstand its very frustarting cause it hurts your business. sorry i am ramblin on so in short i will say your decision is justifiable. Go For It. also want to add you are a great supplier who cares about your customers big time. lot of suppliers on here but there are a few like yourself that stand above the rest. Thanks and do what ya gotta do.

The 510 Cartomizers I bought tasted and felt like I was sucking through a cardboard straw.

Maybe it was the brand I got? I dunno, they were awful. I'd be willing to give them another go if its possible I just had a bad experience. My cartomizers are currently KR808s and I love them for when I am out of HV atties.

I think that Blank 510 Cartomizers make more sense than prefilled.

Most of the e-Cig users that I know are leery of Cartos that are prefilled and prefere to fill there own. Everyone has their own preference of VG/PG ratio and flavor. I like to use my own mix because I know where it came from, how old it is and exactly what it is going to taste like.

There is so much good information on sites like this that people are not scared to try mixing and filling their own cartos.

If I was you I would do a Poll thread and get some feedback on how many people prefere pre-filled verses blank cartos.

Something that I think many people would like to see is some color choice in cartos. I vape 3 or 4 flavors. If I could get cartos in different colors I could know what carto had what flavor in it.

What I would like to see someone sell are bags of colored mouth end plugs so I could put a green plug on a black carto for say menthol and or a brown plug on a white carto for say vanilla.

A quick comment on the 510 cartos you have on your site.

I purchased 2 boxes of them and am very happy with them. The reason I like them is that they draw very easy. In fact, they draw too easy. But that is not a bad thing. I plugged one of the holes with the tip of a tooth pick and the draw is perfect.

Where as some 510 cartos I purchased from another company are very hard to draw. I haven't found a way to get them to hit better so they just sit in a drawer and I will never order them again.

Too easy of a draw is fixable. Not enough draw can sometimes be very difficult to fix if at all. Stay with the supplier you have right now.
